Okay, let me just say that WOW... Wonderful build up, great delivery, gorgeous ending. This chapter was the perfect ending. They're so happy! So much romance... The fact that Nick asked her in Italian was so cute. It just shows how much he really wanted it to be perfect!
For some reason, I thought it was really adorable that he said "This little lady over here just said she'd marry me." I love when guys call their significant others, "little lady" or "woman" or stuff like that. Hehe.
The last paragraph was just... Perfection. Throughout all of the drama and struggle in the story, it all comes back to them being together. I really, really adored it.
Reading this has made me want to be a better writer. (No, I'm not getting all down on myself, I just am constantly trying to learn writing techniques and realize things I like that I might not have had the confidence or experience to write about before... lol.) Your characters are wonderfully developed, your sex scenes are hot, yet necessary to the relationship you've built up between Nick and Ali, and dammit... The romance is smokin. Yes, smokin. Like in The Mask starring Jim Carrey, who is playing both of us in the feature film that comes to theaters in 2016. LOL. Shameless plug for our movie!
On a serious note... The story was really great. I wouldn't have read the entire thing in two days and reviewed it if it wasn't. I'm so excited to start AS from the beginning now. (As you just IMed me and asked if I'm excited for AS... haha! We gotta stop doing that... The whole freaky twin thing. LOL)

Aww, it was a really romantic chapter. Like I said in my last review (I think it was the last one, at least), I don't know what's with me, but yeah... I'm loving their happy sappy romance.
Nick's gifts were amazing... So thoughtful. And so were Ali's pictures.
I love the two of them together. And I want to find out what Ali said in Italian at the end. lol. I took Latin, so I'm clueless. Even though I should probably be able to figure it out. haha.

This is really building up to a big engagement event... I'm feeling like Ali here, missy. lol. I'm like "Hurry up, Nickolas... Geez." But on a serious note, I can totally relate to her on some strange level. I can sympathize with her feelings, but I can also understand Nick's need to make it perfect or something to remember.
I'm glad Ali didn't lose her job. With her drive and work ethic, she'll be taken off of probation in no time... As long as the damn media leaves her be!

Dammit, when the hell did I become such a girl about this stuff? I'm actually loving the, ew, dare I say, romantic stuff. lol. I'm just kidding around. I think I enjoy it so much because it's always been a soft spot for me... And you make Nick and Ali just so darn cute together. But not in the "make you wanna barf" way. The "aww, I want that" way. So it's a good thing.
Overall, great chapter. Loved that they got the stuff cleared up somewhat by doing an exclusive interview... And I can't wait to see what's up next!

I was wondering if the whole thing was going to get out and cause some sort of issues with Ali's job. I'm hoping that they'll be understanding of the situation. Otherwise, what is she supposed to do? Go down the path of one of Nick's exes and try to become an actress just cause they're in LA? I don't think so. lol.
I liked the scene in the bathtub. I love how they tease each other back and forth and how they're really great with communication right now.

WOW! Utter chaos and mayhem in this chapter.. I adored it. I'm SO glad that Nick beat him down... He so deserved it! Usually, people paint a picture of Nick as a jealous and possessive boyfriend, but through this scene, I REALLY realized that that's why I enjoy your story so much. Nick's likable, regardless of his flaws. He's a good man with a good heart. This chapter really showed it.
I really want to see Nick propose to Ali soon. LOL, I'm so impatient, right? But I just want them both to know that they both want it...
I loved how Lori and Clark handed Ali and Nick the garter and bouquet. It was really cute. Little things like that make the story. :)

I have a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach after this chapter. Although it was supposed to be a happy occasion, the whole thing between Alyssa and Brandon is making me queasy...
On the other hand, hot damn I loved Nick's dream! I'm glad that he had a little victory against Brandon, even if it was only in dreamland. I'm really hoping that it's foreshadowing that Nick will defeat Brandon as far as Ali's concerned.

I really like the title of this chapter, first of all. I'm going to guess there's a double meaning between Alyssa lying to Nick and lying on her back? We'll see...
Umm, did I mention Brandon's a total ass? Cause, yeah, he is.
I think it's good that Alyssa admitted to Nick that she made the first move. While it might hurt them now, it'll be good that they were honest with each other in the future. I had been wondering if you were going to show the sex scene between Ali and Brandon. I'm glad you did, just so we know what happened. (Even though it was weird to read how different it was between them compared to Ali and Nick's sex with amazing chemistry.)
Let me just say... The whole scene with Nick and Alyssa was really great. It shows their intimacy and how much they both really need each other. I'm glad that Nick came clean about the Brandon dream. He needs to voice his insecurities to Alyssa. I think it's good for them.

Know what's funny? I just realized that there wasn't actual sex... Like, I saw it in your author's note, but until right now, when I was going to say "awesome sex scene," I really noticed it wasn't the main event. But damn was it hot. I do think it's kind of sneaky of Alyssa to use sex like that... To say "Promise you'll never question my faithfulness" type of thing when she's withholding his climax. But it definitely displays the power she holds over him - physically and emotionally.
The scene with Alyssa at her father's grave was rough. It must be so difficult to lose a parent and for the time that Alyssa's at in her life, it must be even harder. Thank God she DOES have Nick, though. Hopefully she'll realize that he's her rock and she CAN count on him without having to worry about losing him.
Again, another awesome chapter. :D

WOOO! Go Kellie! I'm glad that she threatened Brandon. Hopefully he'll listen and keep his distance. I'm glad that her friends and family respect and encourage her relationship with Nick enough to dislike Brandon and be skeptical of his motives.
It's sucky that Brandon put doubt in Alyssa's mind about Nick's intentions. I hope that in time, she'll wake up and realize Nick does love her and has been planning on asking her to marry him for some time. His words are not just hollow promises, but serious intentions. It's understandable, though. The same with Nick. Insecurities can sneak in and take over so easily. It makes both of them more human and probably, in the long run, more appreciative of each other. They desperately love each other, but it keeps them on their toes when they're constantly wondering if the other feels the same. Total confidence in a relationship (at least in my opinion) is a bit disheartening. If you don't get butterflies, wondering exactly like he/she feels about you, then what's the point? Hopefully Nick and Ali will be able to keep that, hmm, modesty?, about one another, but yet be able to have a successful and loving relationship. I guess we'll have to see!
P.S. Nick's outfit... Damn! :D Hotness. lol.

Urgh, Brandon's a jerk! I really thought that it was all innocent and now he's trying to sabotage Nick and Alyssa's relationship. I'm glad that Nick realized that's what was going on, though. I hope Alyssa realizes what Brandon's like and that he's selfishly trying to get her for himself with no regard as to whether she's happy with Nick or not.
I liked the Bible Tourette's comment... lol. I actually liked the scene with the guys. Again, that's you with your talent for writing dialogue, especially between a number of characters.
