OK, so I picked this one. A Supernatural corssover huh? I'll admit I've never seen the show for the sole reason that I hated Jensen Ackles' character on Smallville. But knowing me, if I started watching it, I would be totally addicted. I've always wanted to write a Smallville fic or crossover, but just haven't gotten around to it. Haven't thought of a good enough idea for one yet. Anyway, this one's off to a wonderful start. As a mother of someone a little younger than Baylee, it's really easy for me to picture it. Sooo heartbreaking when your kids are scared like that. Good job there. And also I like that you didn't give Baylee 'baby talk' so many people do that still, but the kid is like 4 now... that's like almost kindergarten... anyway, I like it!
Author's Response: AAHH! I can't STAND when Baylee has baby talk in fics! It makes me so darned mad for the same reasons you stated. Anyway, you should watch Supernatural because Jensen Ackles is AMAZING in it! So is Jared Padalecki (LOL I have a soft spot for Sam!). I'm glad you're finally starting to catch up to your #1 groupie status!

omg you're SO funny! i love your writing style, you always drop all these funny stuff but they're subtle and not overly done and i tend to read it and then at the end of the sentence went 'oh, that was funny! ahahaha' like, 5 seconds too late and then it catches up to you, lmao! (or maybe im just sloooow). anyways...the burglars were arguing, unbelievable! was too damn funny. And Brian brandishing is broom, rotflmao!

Great update, doing awesome on the characters, even if on the show Dean is such a hard ass (and has one :P)he's still believable in this story cause you write him like on the show and add your own little version to fit the story!!! Keep up the kick ass work!

Brian had a fleeting memory of the time he and Nick worked together…on a prank. Not quite the same but definitely satisfying from the look on Kevin’s face. He grinned to himself....LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this :D
Baylee is SO uber CUTE!!!! and to picture Sam and Baylee together is just GAH! i love the double meaning though...i love it when they pull it off on the show, and i love reading abt it in fics!

Author's Response: i wanted to make Baylee adorable because he just seems so adorable normally, anyway. and yeah, the idea of Sam and kids just makes me *squeeeeeee* so yeah, Sam and Baylee. Plus, i think he'd be like that anyway with children. he just seems softer (ok, that sounds weird). i don't think i'm going to expose Dean's secret just yet as i have an idea about that *winks* anyhoo, i'm glad you like this story because that makes me *squee* too! and, no, you can't shower dean in holy water because i called dibs on that LMAO

omg when did you update a second chapter? did i just miss this?!gah! but OMG i dont know why you think your Dean is out of character because im sure loving him! and dude, for someone who just get into the show, you're doing a mighty fine job at those Sam/Dean scenes! I LOVE it. Dean's snarky in a dark way and LOL he likes backstreet boys! (i actually wanted him to randomly go 'oh you're hte dude who sang IWITW' for my fic but i ended up having him totally have no clue who BSB are, lol)and Sam is SO Sam that i was GRINNING when i read that whole scene! also, this right here:
One was tall, his dark hair curled riotously over his ears and fell into his dark eyes. He looked like he should be in college still, and the smile he gave Brian reminded him of the innocent way Baylee smiled. He wasn’t scrawny but definitely more on the lean side, while his co-worker was closer to Brian’s height. He had a sturdy, muscular build and currently wore a smirk on his face.

So I have to admit that when I first read the summary for the story, I found myself thinking, "This is probably going to be something cheezy and stupid" -- like one of those low budget horror flicks where they use the previews to make the movie look scary, but when you actually watch the whole movie, you laugh because you can't understand how they advertised it to be terrifying in the first place. But I figured, what the hey, I'm a sucker for stories containing Brian, and of course Baylee also, and I thought I'd give it a try. I'm glad I did and I have enjoyed the first chapter. The relationship father and son express as Brian is trying to calm Baylee's fears is realistic, heartwarming, and adorable. I enjoyed that. You also wrote each line and paragraph wonderfully. Keep up the good work because you definitely have my interest hooked! [Ashley]

I really love the Brian and Baylee relationship and i'm such a cliched romance writer that i felt the need to break away and write something else. ergo, this story. it's not supposed to be super scary as i wrote it simply for fun, so i hope it won't be cheesy like most horror films end up becoming LOL anyhoo, i'm glad you're enjoying it!

I just started reading your new story and I just LOVE it. I feel bad for Baylee having a moster in his closet. Man, I cannot see Dean lasting to a tape of BSB, it's just to wierd... lol I used to watch Supernatural until they moved to Thrusday nights and now I can't watch it cause they are on the same time as Grey's Anatomy... :( But I love this and I can't wait to read more.
Author's Response: i have the same problem with Grey's and SN, but i've decided that SN is definitely more interesting than Grey's right now, so i get to watch that! i'm glad you're enjoying this story, and, no, i can't imagine Dean listening to BSB but it's fun to write anyway!
