Baylee honestly is too cute for words! God, the child is so adorable and innocent. Poor Brian though! Denial is disappearing and reality is setting in. Nick though....he shouldn't treat Brian so fragile. Although, its hard to act normal in such situations.... great chapter. Sorry it took me half the year to read it!!!
Author's Response: Gotta love kids right? Well at least I do. Maybe that's why I worked in a day care for so many years. I kinda miss it actually. People handle situations differently so I can understand how Brian is acting. Then again I can also understand how Nick is acting. It's about time my advisor is starting to read this again. Author's Response: I know, I know, but unfortunately, I'm not God so I can't control fate...LoL, heh. Glad you liked the chapter (at least I perceive that you liked the chapter?) Keep checking back for updates. I've got a semi start on the next chap so I should have it up within the next week or so. Just haven't had much time to write and started to have a slight case of writer's block. Not to worry though, I don't believe the writer's block is terminal this time. Author's Response: Hmmm, maybe he could, but c'mon now...don'tcha think that would be a little too easy? LoL, besides I called the heart factory and they are currently out of the plastic-silicon material needed to construct the artificial heart. Good news is they will be receiving a shipment of the material. Bad news is the shipment won't arrive until I am finished writing the story... LoL, thanks for the review!
