Nice chapter. It looks like Nick is starting to be an issues between the girls. I know Marie is just looking out for Casey but she's old enough to make and mend her own mistakes. Youre right, Casey should be able to make her own mistakes, in part I think that may be why shes sort of following HER instincts on Nick without caring what Marie or anyone else thinks! I was going to review this last night, but I forced myself to get an update out before I did. Well, it seems like Casey and Nick have a common bond with their parents and all. Something tells me that Nick isn't this friendly with all his one night stands which makes me wonder what's different about Casey? Can't wait to see as their friendship progresses.
And yes now I definitely do see that this takes place in the B&B days lol.

I can definitely relate to Casey with the whole not working up to her "schedule." It's really hard to stick to a solid plan throughout college cuz so many curveballs are being thrown your way. It's frustrating when you seem to be progressing at a slower rate than your friends. I definitely know what that's like.
I'm a lil surprised though at how quickly her and Nick hooked up though. From the first chapter I wouldn't have pictured it like this. I hope this takes a better turn than most stories that start out with Nick and a girl meeting a club, heavily making out in a cab, and having sex in the beginning. Thanks for pointing out the time frame. I probaly would not have picked up on it otherwise.
Author's Response: Yeah, I mean its really hard "when you fall behind" especially when there are friends who you are being compared to. This is what I was nervous about, it was hard for me to decide if Nick and Casey should hook up so soon but Im hoping the next chapter smoothes over the situation. We'll see if their relationship differs from the typical "Nick and a girl in a club." Oh, the time frame should become more obvious within the next chaps. Thanks for R&R, Mel! :Drn
