Ooooh my. The opening of this chapter of course made me laugh! LOL. I could just hear his scream and see his face, and I seriously busted out laughing!! Thank you, Nick Carter, for that horribly acted scene... thank you Rose for sharing that lovely video clip with me, lmao!!
But ugh, the thought of all of North America being affected by the virus and only them being the true sole survivors is indeed a scary thought!! I really don't know what I'd do if I were in their shoes! And leave it to those two (Nick and Riley) to throw in a little humor while they prepare themselves to take down some undead bitches! Oh, and leave it to Nick to blow up their plane. -____- LOL, just keeding. But in this istance, we can truly say "blame it on Nick Carter", lol. But man, with poor Kevin injured, and no plane to fly them to either California or back to Florida, I'm anxious to read on and see what'll happen!
Author's Response: LMAO thanks, this came right when the movie finally got on the net. So we wanted to use it somehow, cause it's seriously too good not to mock! (And you're welcome lol). It's a scary thought, the rest of the country being gone. So that's why Kevin needs to find out. We like throwing some humor in when we can, lol. Wow...action packed chap! First off, nice song choice! I love "Hey Jude." Lol at "little levitating fucking deathtraps." That was hilarious...great job getting in his head, as always. I hope that Kevin is ok, I was scared he was dead for a minute. And damn! Was not expecting this...so two camps now? What a twist!!

Kevin's okay for now...but no one's safe for long mwahahaha. Yep, two camps now, two plot-lines to be told :). Glad you liked it! OMG!!!! I can't believe they got stranded in Colorado! In the spirit of Halloween....I heard Thriller on the radio last night at work and immediately thought of the Nick you portrayed here knocking off zombies one by one while singing the song.

I had to laugh at nick's dream....hmmmm I wonder where that came from ;) having seen that video over and over again. Poor Nick and his fear of flying...and poor Kevin :(( it looks like they won't see the others again does it? Hopefully Kevin survives and they figure out something! They should have known zombies would be everywhere, they should have stayed on the base. I also liked how Nick protected Riley, the way he covered her like that reminded me of this episode of smallville. Loving this update, I was excited to see double updates! Double updates....what could it mean???? LOL thanks for giving me some entertainment. Loved every bit!
Author's Response: LOL that was why that one night I kept tweeting about the hilarity of it. I was cracking myself up writing that. Poor Nick though, and Kevin. :( It does look like that doesn't it? Who knows if they will, life has definitely gotten harder for them yet again. As for leaving the base, the problem was that they had no way of knowing, and Kevin did have a point, it was that or sit around to get picked off one by one. Now they know. So I posted my review in the last chapter before this one was posted...still SO depressing. They have to see each other again, they just have to. Damn Kevin. Although I am kind of excited that it's Nick and Kevin together in this part of the story, I just love those two together.lol
