As if the poor guy hadn't been through enough *grumble grumble* Man, now he's going to have to recover from the leg AND deal with his relapse. Sigh. I would say, "could things get any worse for our survivors?" but I already know the answer with the two of you: YES. lol
Author's Response: I would just like to point out AJ was always an alcoholic lmao. :P. Besides, he never really dealt with his issues. He just shoved them aside with the zombies as a distraction. Take away the distraction, and now he has to deal. And we're mean and like to torture lmao.

So happy to see this updated!!! Aw poor AJ! He was finally feeling a sense of purpose in his life and then this happens :( Great job with this chap and getting in his head. Can't wait to see what'll happen now and how the others will react. Thanks for updating.
Author's Response: I know! Inspiration's running high right now lol for both of us, it's kind of awesome. And that's exactly it, he never dealt with his problems, just shifted them aside once he found a new purpose. Take it away...and he's back where he started. Now he needs to deal, he doesn't have the luxury of not dealing with it like before. Thanks Sel!

Aww, poor AJ. He's too hard on himself. Of course he's still wanted and loved by the others, they wouldn't just ditch him because of his injuries. But I suppose he can't see that yet and thinks of himself as worthless. Hopefully he'll get over it.

Author's Response: He is, but it's not entirely his fault lol. AJ never actually worked on any of his issues, they just got shoved to the side because of everything that's happened. Now that there's no distractions, they're still there. Thanks Steph!

I love when this one gets updated, it's been a minute. This one made me sad for poor AJ though, it's hard to see them all separated. I desperately want to know what's going on with Nick, Kevin and Riley too. It's been awhile since we heard about them. Thanks for the update!
Author's Response: I know right? The next update (famous last words) shouldn't be so far off. Julie's already working on it. :). AJ's got it rough right now, and separating wasn't their best idea lol. Kevin, Nick and Riley...everyone wants to know about them lol. Be patient people! LOL. Thanks so much for the update! Wow, what a chapter. Poor AJ. It sucks that it took this for him to understand how Nick felt with his seizures and not being able to help the group. Are we gonna read more about Kevin, Nick, and Riley soon?? I'm so happy to see this updated! Great job!

Ohhhh AJ :( this made me so sad. Brilliant chapter, but I hope he didn't kill himself drinking and just passed out...it was a great chapter and glad you're updating again, I missed this!
Author's Response: I know. :( but just because the world ended doesn't mean the same old issues still remain. I mean, what do you get when you take away all the distractions that kept you from focusing on your problems? As for AJ's well being...guess we'll see! Thanks Tracy!
