Great idea to have the memorial garden. And glad even Spunky got a cross. lol. I love the reference to Noah's ark at the beginning...very cool. And I love how AJ saved Gabby and kept the truth to himself. Great work ladies:)

Author's Response: Thanks Sel! :) It seemed like a nice gesture to bring them some closure. I love including religious references in Brian's parts; I've spent an unusual amount of time with my Bible writing this story LOL. I think AJ was the perfect person to come across Gabby in that situation because he's the one person who really understands. Glad you enjoyed, and thanks again! :)

Loving all these updates!

Even though they would be perfect together, it's still a bit soon and that memorial service proved it.  But one day, when they are both ready, I think they'll be perfect together.  Good to see Gabby joining in, I think AJ really helped her out of that dark place she was in.

Can't wait for more (even though I know we've been spoiled this week, lol)

Author's Response: Thanks, Steph! Yeah, it is still a bit soon, for Gretchen especially, but time will tell. I think this was a good healing chapter for her and Gabby and all of them. Glad you enjoyed all the updates! :)

Well, Brian, I'm a woman and I hate rain, so let's not go stereotyping. Speaking of rain, I think it's supposed to rain here tomorrow. UGHHHH.

Also, no, Brian, you're not lonely. You're just horny. It HAS been 6 months after all. BUT YAY! Wouldn't it be cute if they got together? Wouldn't it be awesome if Gretchen gave birth to the first post zombie apocalypse baby (because you know all the birth control pills would have expired and no longer work, okay? work with me here!) :D

Wow. I reached the end. I feel...sad. At least this chapter doesn't have a depressing ending, so yay! Thanks for all the hard work, just so I can sit here on a Friday night and play catch up:)

Author's Response: LOL yeah, he's totally horny. But he's a preacher; he's not supposed to admit that. ;) I'm glad you're all caught up; thanks for all the reviews, and we're glad you're still enjoying the story! :)

Nice chapter. I'm glad that Brian is deciding to wait for Gretchen and that altar and memorial garden is a great idea. Let's hope it lasts for awhile. Thanks for all of the updates. :)

Author's Response: Thanks, MA! Glad you enjoyed! :)

Awww. I love how everybody pulls together. I like the rain too, and Brian's analogy about Noah's flood. I think everybody will be okay for the most part now, but something tells me there is something about to happen. I enjoyed how they all help each other get through this ordeal and work together to survive, its really inspiring. I loved the updates, can't wait for more!

Author's Response: Thanks, Tracy! Things are improving around the base, but you know us LOL. We've always got more up our sleeve. I like what you said about it being inspiring; that's one of my favorite things about this story, the bond that they've forged out of necessity and the way certain characters have changed for the better since the beginning. Thanks!!
