6:30pm
"Nick, what's Brian number?" I asked Nick.
He dictated the number.
"Hello?" I heard Brian on the other line.
"Hey, B-Rok? It's Ally."
"Oh, hey! What's up? Did ya know it's . . . ?"
"Of course, I know. That's why I called. Lemme talk to him."
"Ok, hold on."
I heard Brian calling Baylee in the background.
"Hi, Aunt Ally," he spoke. My heart nearly melted. What a sweet kid!
"Hey, Bay. Happy Birthday! How old are you now?"
"4."
"Wow, big number 4, huh?"
"Not really. Dad still won't let me date."
I laughed at that comment, "It's because you're too young. Did you do anything today?"
"Yup. We when to Disney World, and my mom and dad bought me an ice cream chocolate cake."
I whined, "Hey! I like ice cream cakes. Can you save me a piece?"
"Aunt Ally, you should know it'll be old when you come here."
I laughed again, "Yeah, I know. Can you put on daddy again, please?"
"Ok. I love you, Auntie."
I smiled, "Love you, too, Bay."
"Daddy!" I heard Baylee scream.
I laughed again for the last time.
"What's up, Al?" Brian spoke. I was going to tell him about the baby.
"Bri, I have to tell you something. You can tell Leighanne and the others, but they have to keep it as a secret," I began to tell him.
"God, is it that big of a secret?" He said sarcastically.
"Oh, trust me, B. When I tell you, you won't believe me."
"Ok, shoot."
"Bri, I'm pregnant."
5 seconds past and nothing.
"Bri?"
"A-Are you sure? I-I mean, Wow . . . you?"
I nodded, "Yes, Brian."
"Alyson, do you know that Nick could be sent to jail for this?"
"Yeah, we know. I told him. And by the way, the media kinda knew before I did."
"What?!"
"I found out this morning and they had a picture of me and Nick going to a hotel, which was like yesterday."
"Why did you and Nick go to a hotel in the first place?" He asked, confused.
"No comments," I told him.
"Oh, I get you. You and Nicky where getting busy, huh?"
I laughed, "Brian, stop it."
He laughed.
"No, but seriously. I am. Go tell Leighanne. Now, I gotta tell my 'rents. Wish me luck."
"Break a leg."
"Brian, for the baby, I'm not going to."
"You know what mean!"
"Yeah, I do," I laughed, "Ok, bye. Love ya."
"Lots of love, bye."
We hung up. I felt hands wrapped around my waist.
"I love you, baby. And you know that," I heard Nick's voice. He massaged my stomach, "I'll never leave you. I promise."
I smiled, "I promise the same thing."
And we kissed, ever so passionately.
