Chapter 13
My Room

I brought him up stars and we sat on my bed.

“This is your childhood room?” He said looking around my room. He got up off of my bed and went to my Closet Door…On my door there is a blown up my dad and I when I was four…I was playing on a swing set at the park.

I got up and went over to my armoire and opened it and it had all of my trophies from swimming and dancing.

“You have a lot of trophy’s here. I have a lot from when I was younger I played a lot of Football and Baseball…If you every come up to Lexington I’ll show you them.” Kev said

“Cool.” I said and that was all that was said in the following 3 hrs, because we were both tired, and we fell asleep.

“Kaitie…Kaitie…Kaitie come on wake up.” Lisa said…wait LISA?

I woke up to see my stepmother Lisa sitting on my bed I looked over and Kevin was not there…which in this case might be a good thing…cause he might be in deep shit with my old man…I moved my hand under the side of the blanket and found a paper…I didn’t pull it out because then Lisa would know that he was here.

“Yea lease…I’m tired”

“I just thought that since you have been sleeping all day that you would like to go to dinner…come on…just the 2 of us.” She said.

“Cool can we go P.F Changs?” I asked her…Hoping she would say yes

“Sure kid let me just leave a note for your father…so he doesn’t worry.” Lisa said…I got out of bed and went to my closet and grabbed a knee length skirt, a tank top, and an over jacket.

“Hey lease I’m going to hop in the shower for a few minutes is that ok?” I asked

“Yea sure I am going to change and then leave your dad a note.” She said leaving my room and going to her and dads room

I hoped into the shower and 10 minutes later I was done…I changed my mined about the outfit… I put on a pair of blue Jeans and a white top…after I was dressed I blow dried my hair put on a tiny bit of make up on just to cover up my emotions. When I was ready I went into dad’s room and lease was just finished writing the note.

“Are you ready kid? Wow I like the outfit. I may have to beat young men off of you with a stick.” Lisa said.

We left the house at about 5:45 and went to dinner at PF Changs. I can’t wait I love their orange peel shrimp.

(((( a/n: Yes PF Changs does exist It is a banging Chinese food restaurant…I really love their orange peel shrimp))))

When we got there my friend Joe was working as the host.

“Hey Kaitie welcome home kid we have all missed you around here…how’s Justin?” He asked

“Still a pain in my ass…I am on tour with him now…we are on a little break thought. How is Jordan?” I asked him Jordan is his twin and he is such brat…I love him though.

“He still a pain in my ass” he said laughing and then adding “Hey Mrs. Timberlake just you and Kaitie tonight?” Joe asked Lisa

“Yes thank you Joseph” She said calling him that because she knows that he hates it…she does it as payback for “Mrs. Timberlake”

when we got to the table one of my favorite songs started to play…Dreaming of You by Selena (((RIP)))

“things were ok...just saw us together and that is one of the reasons i am back here...Justin dragged me out of a Backstreet boy party and dragged me home...then Kevin came and got me and drove me to the airport” I told Lisa.
“awe Kaitie...Im sorry...hey guess what...your dad got passes from his job for tonights BSB show...backstage passes are included...wanna go?” she asked me

“I’d Love too...can we can we can we?” I asked like a 2-year-old
“hehe your so cute. You know that?” she said
20 minutes later we had ordered our food and had gotten it...another one of my favorite songs started to play Don’t let go by en vogue

After we paid the bill we left the restaurant and went home to get the passes and tickets. When we had the tickets we went over to the venue and went backstage…only Nick and Brian were there YAY!!!! I miss those guys…

“Hey Kaitie…how are you short one?” Nick asked being a smart ass…he is 6-1 and I am 5-7
“Look Carter at least I will not get a nosebleed up there unlike someone I know.” I said

“Hey Kaitie…I missed you” Brian said

“Hey Kait you want to play a little b-ball with me?” Nick asked me

“Sure as long as I get to play B-Rok next” I said kicking off my boots

We went over to the inside hoop and we started to play horse … Nick lost…

“Haha Carter you lost time for a little B-Rok” I said

“Alright Timberlake your going down” Brian said.

Needless to say Brian lost too…finally Howie and Kevin walked into the venue and saw me whoop Brian’s ass in Horse

“KAITIE!!! How did you do that no one ever beats me!!!” Brian freaked and friendly charged at me so I kiddishly ran hid behind Kevin. AJ came in right after this.

“Okay why are we hurting Timberlake … did she bring Justin?” AJ asked

“No…she beat both Brian and I in horse” Nick said and AJ just laughed his ass off

“Leave Kaitie alone…just because ur losing it Rok doesn’t mean you can take it out on her” Kevin said turning around to put a friendly protective arm around me.

“Okay since everyone is here…I can introduce a person who I wished was my mother…Lisa this is Kevin…Brian…Nick…Howie…and AJ…guys this is my stepmother Lisa” I said

a chorus of “ it’s nice to meet you’s” and “hi’s” were heard from the guys.

We sat around until the show was about to start…Lisa and I then went to the first row…the show opened with larger than life

That was the only part of the show I got to see…because after the last note of the song I was hit in the head and don’t remember what happened after that.
