The way you touch her

The special moments together

We'll never have that.

We'll never have anything you have with her.

I see the look in your eyes when you think about her.

The same look you gave me.

The same goofy happy look that we shared.

You care so much,

But so little at the same time.

I'll never get to see your smile

For it was not meant to be.

I can hear your words in my heart

For it's the only way I can hear you speak.

The little things that make your heart melt

Were never there.

They were just imagined.

I fell in love with you not because of looks

But because of character.

You call me your angel,

And your angel I will always be.

For angels are there in spirit

Just like me.

Too bad we didn't work.

Cause we would have been great,

But, some things just weren't meant to be,

And we must have been one of them.
