Swollen Issues - Chapter Two

“You look like shit Nick,” AJ stated as he peered over the top of his
sunglasses.

Nick winced as he swallowed. “Reedy? I woulbn’t habe known thab wibout you
tellib be. Tanks.”

Kevin sighed in exasperation. “God, could you two just take neutral corners?
This is going to be a long flight and if Nick had taken my advice last week he
wouldn’t be feeling like he does now.”

Nick opened his mouth to protest Kevin’s comment but stopped short when
Kevin glared at him, his green eyes had ’don’t even try to argue’ written
in them.

Amazingly, they were able to board their private plane without incident.
With it being an early six o’clock flight, coupled with the fact that the fans
were misinformed that they would be flying out tomorrow, enabled the men
to go through the airport undetected.

As they settled in their seats, Brian couldn’t help but notice that Nick was in
a great amount of discomfort.

“Nick, I get the feeling that this is much more than a head cold and fear of
flying, am I right?”

Holding his stomach, Nick nodded slightly. “I can’t shake it.”

“After we take off, you need to go back and lay down,” Brian suggested.

Gripping the arms of his seat, Nick again nodded slightly, silently praying he
wouldn’t get sick. “I ache all ober.”
