“All right guys one more song for today and then you guys don’t come back until next week. “ Abby looked down at the song, “Back To Your Heart” and Kevin’s name appeared at the top for somewhat being apart of the writing process. She glanced over the lyrics quietly and saw Nick’s name appear. She smiled and looked at Nick who was smiling at her.

Abby had tears streaming down her face. It was such a beautiful song. So much power so much emotion.

“Abby don’t cry” Nick said coming out of the booth.

“Sorry it was such a beautiful song…. I couldn’t help it”

“I understand how about we get out of her and get something to eat?” Nick suggested.

“Sounds good…I’m hungry”

“Well see you guys later,” Nick and Abby walked of the studio.

~ Flashback ~

Abby and Nick sat on the couch in Nick’s living room.

“Abby….Nick lunch is ready!” Jane yelled from the kitchen. Abby got up and before Nick could get up Abby set on his lap.

“Hey Abby come on get up! I’m hungry…I wanna go and eat,” Nick whined.

“No…I am not letting you”

“Please don’t make me do the Carter puppy face” he chuckled

“Do it I dare you!” Nick did the puppy face and Abby didn’t budge.

“Dammit Abby please…I am very hungry”

“Complaining isn’t going to get you anywhere Mr. Carter”

“Fine I will just have to do it own way”

“And what way is that?”

“This way” Nick got up and Abby fell to the floor.

“Nick! That hurt!” Abby exclaimed.

“I’m so sorry Abby here let me help you up” Nick bent over to help Abby when Abby pulled him down with her,” How did I know you were going to do that?” Nick turned towards Abby and smiled. They were now facing face to face…perfect eye contact. Nick started to lean in more to kiss her.

“Nickolas…Abigail…stop fooling around and get in here before your macaroni and cheese gets cold!”

As they walked to Nick’s car Abby tripped and started to fall when Nick caught her and pulled her into his arms. They were now facing face to face perfect eye contact.

“Thank you….” Nick leaned in and kissed Abby. They both felt like the whole world had come to a complete stop. Nick had wanted to do that for so long…the moment was now right. This would now start to beginning of a beautiful relationship
