Nick couldn't help but kiss her hand, He wanted to show her that he forgives her and wants to be with her, but everything isn't great, he still couldn't belive that she did that to him. Nick couldn't help but be greatful though if she was never in that line of work, he probably never would of met her. The Women that brings out so many emotions within him. Never once has he had his heart broken by a women, and wan't that very same women to mend him back together. Nick took her hand and led her inside his room, and they sat on the couch. Not really saying much at all to eachother mostly because either of them knew what to say to eachother.
Nick watched the blood rush to her cheeks, and they turned a light shade of pink. "Dido." Keria smiled up to him, she couldn't belive the man before her eyes the one she thought she lost was to still with her, talking to her, kissing her hand.
"Keria, dont think everything is great between us because its not, I really don't know how we are going to be together if I dont trust you." Nick laughed lightly at the situatuon. "All I know is I didn't want to see you walk out the door, without giving us a fair chance."
Nick grabbed kerias hand and played with the ring she always wore, it wasn't the nicest ring he has ever saw but it was definately the most elegant.
"Nick, I know everything isn't great between us, and that kills me because up until yesterday everything was the best. I honestly couldn't ask for more, I know it was me who ruined everything and that hurts cause I know theres nothing for me to do to fix it. I will just have to wait for you to someday trust me again." Keria sighed and looked over at the painting of the ocean, it the picture instantly calmed her beating heart.
Nick took his hand and tilted her chin "It doesn't matter as much as it matters, It doesn't. Lets just start over as I said."
Keria got up and started pacing " Nick, It does matter, more than you know it matters!! everytime we have a problem in our realtionship whatever we are. I dont want to just sweep it under the rug and pretend it didn't happen." Keria sighed.
Nick got up "Well what do you propose we do then?" Nick asked in scarcastic tone.
Keria was slowly counting to 5, and then counting backwards " Nick dont be an ***."
Nick walked over to her "Dont you dare start accusing me of being an ***, I never once lied to you. I was always honest and upfront with you about everything. Im over these bull**** realtionships." Nick went into his bedroom and came out with a smoke and a lighter, and inhaled sharply as the familair senstation calmed him.
"So now this is a bull**** relationship?" Keria asked tapping her foot inpatiently.
"I didn't say that!!!" Nick defended himself.
"Then what in the hell are you trying to say." Keria yelled a little louder.
Nick sighed " Keria I really just want to forget about it, and move on with you."
"No, Nick I want to know what you meant by the comments you made."
Keria looked right into his eyes. "Why in the hell do you want to sweep it under the rug."
Nick took another drag of his smoke before budding it out and droping it, in the near by ashtray. " Look, Keria I guess I mean its your fault were in this situation you, if you never lied to me this never would of happened."
"Look nick, I know that okay I said im sorry what more do you want me to say, Im not going to sit here and grovell at your feet for forgivness. and for you still be with me, cause if this is what its going to be like. I dont want any part of it. I made a mistake, can you look me square in the eye and tell me you have never made a mistake?"
Nick shook his head slowly
"I didn't think so, just so you know. I lost my job over you Nick. I gave up a pretty good assignment for you. I want to be a writer, and its not good on resume that I got fired, it doens't matter to them if it was in moral or not. you for fired, you didn't meet their orders plain and simple. I gave up my dream to be with you. I want to be a writer but thats nearly impossible to do with no good references. Nick I was good at my job. I gave it up to be with you, cause I didn't want to hurt you like that. Cause I knew we had something, i felt a connection with you Nick." Keria looked into his eyes and grabbed his hand "And I still do."
Nick didn't know what to say, he was so angry at her but he never thought about it like that before, her giving up her dream for him. He never once thought of the repurcussions of her actions.
"Im sorry Keria." Nick looked into her eyes and squeezed his hand " I know we should talk this through, but I honestly dont know what to say. Cause honestly nothing is going to make either of feel any bettter. All I can say I guess is, Thank you for finally telling me the truth, I love you for the sacrifices you made to make me feel better, but I just wish you would of told me the truth the day you quit."
Keria sighed " I love you too, but can you honestly say your reaction would of been different if i told you sooner, if possible it could of been worse Nick. I dont really know if thats possible though because being called a Two faced *****, and Whore, wasn't on nicks Greated hit list." Keria opened her heart in all honesty.
"I'm sorry Baby." Nick leaned down and kissed her lightly and pulled away " Im sorry I didn't mean it, well I did mean it but I dont anymore. how about we go out and go mini golfing."
Keria laughed " Mini golfing?" Keria shook her head " after one kiss and mini-golfing you think everything is going to be better?"
Nick kissed her forehead " No, not all better but we can work on it, lets just take things to steps at a time. Mini golfing is a great stress reliever." nick smiled.
Keria laughed "Nick you are the most moody person I know, you know that. One minute your telling me you hate me, the next you say you love me, the next you say were a Quote: bull**** relationship. The next minute you say you love me again, then god nick you make me dizzy." Keria shook her head.
"See MiniGolfing would do you good, please Baby." nick pouted.
"Nick I dont know, we still have stuff to talk about." Keria smiled
Nick put his hands in the air in defeat " You know what, I really dont know what there is left to talk about. We talk about it on the way there, were walking." Nick grabbed her hand, and locked his door on the way out.
Nick smiled at her " Now Talk, you said you want to talk about it so talk."
Keria laughed " Nick your crazy."
"Yea but you love me anyways, because of it." Nick wiggled his eyebrows.
"Yea one of the many actually." Keria couldn't help but pinch his but.
Nick laughed " What is so special about my A S S." spelling it out in letter formation.
"Thats classifed information, cant tell you that." Keria winked
"Why not?" Nick asked " Keria, do you have any idea how freaky it is to go on the internet, and see pictures of your *** and other regions of my body posted on the internet?" Nick asked with a scared look on his face.
Keria laughed " **** Nick, you should give me addy i would love to see that."
Nick raised his eyebrows " Really, that can be arranged you know, Never fear."
"Nick, that wasn't one of my fears ever actually, my fear was losing you."
Keria gave him a half smile and felt the tears spring to her eyes.
Nick took her hand and led her to a secluded bench in the park they just passed by, on there way to a Glow put. "I know I heard you when you said but you said you would never leave me." Keria looked up into his eyes, and Nick whiped away her tears like he has done so many times before.
"Keira I dont want to ever leave you that upset again, I dont want to leave you alone, or cut you out of my life. So please dont give me any reasons too. I dont want to put up with anymore bull**** relationships I guess thats what I meant. Im sick of putting time in and getting jack in return. I guess I just want to be treated as others want too. I want to love you, and for you to love me back with no hidden agendas. I dont want to have to worry about who your screwing behind my back, If I dont call you at a certain time I dont want you to freak. I just want to have a Somewhat normal relationship where people are together, fight, make up and just fall in love with eachothers quirks and faults." Nick said in all one big breath.
Keria looked into his eyes, and pulled him up off the bench " I cant make empty promises but I promise you this I have secrets, I would have to have them to be a human. I promise none of them have to do with you, or us." Keria looked into his eyes and felt nick hold her tighter.
"I can deal with that, as long as we tell eachother one each week. Secrets aren't always good burried, they always arise and haunt us in our sleep." Nick smiled and moved a peice of hair that was falling into her eyes."
Keria smiled " Deal." Keria kissed his cheek.
"Come on now, I think you can to better than that." Nick joked, and leaned in against her lips.
Keria leaned up and kissed him passionately in the street...
when they pulled away they were both breathless. Keria nick took short laboured breaths trying to regain there compusure. Numerous people walked by and told them to get a room, to ewwws, and when do you think they will come up for air, as onlookers watched them.
"Much Better" Nick smiled and his eyes twinkled as he did so. " So what do you say we take this 2 steps at a time." Nick squeezed her hand.
"Im up for that, I need to tell you something though." Keria watched his eyes for some sort of reaction and found nothing but silence. She noticed Nick was good at the silent treatment.
"Well, I guess you need to know is, I may not being doing the assignment, but trust me melvin has other people out there. So right now we are probably being watched."
Nick smiled "Dont worry about it, Im used to it! Not looking forward to Kevin and the rest of the boys reading the headlines though."
Nick sighed " I can only imagaine, I guess while we are saying things I should tell you Sunday I am leaving to go back home to the states. do work on our album a little we are going to record a few new songs, added to the old un-released songs."
"Well thats good nick." Kera tried her best to smile. " Im going to miss you."
"Why don't you move to the states, you might find it easier to get a job there, rather than here." Nick stated as they walked hand in hand, jumping the puddles of water, laying on the ground.
"Mmm, yea but you know that house I took you too, that was my friend Andreas. Im house sitting for her while her and her husband are on a 2 month honeymoon in the Bahammas. They are comming back soon, so I am living there until, I do something productive with my life." Keria smiled.
Nick smiled " Really, your friend has a very luxurious home!"
Keria couldn't help bit giggle " Yea her and her husband have pretty good jobs, and they won the lottery about 9 months ago, on the lottery ticket i put in there card. So that definately helps."
Nick chuckled " Wow, bet you were kicking yourself on that one."
"You know, Not really they were married and in love and Deserved it just as much as anyone else out there."
Nick wrapped his arm around her tighter " Your amazing you know that?" Nick kissed the tip of her nose.
"Well I will soon, if you keep on telling me all the time. I might start to belive it soon." Keria smiled " You know your pretty **** good yourself."
Nick smiled " I try! I just have one question though if those weren't kids toys than whos are they?"
Keria laughed " Nickers, Nickers is spoiled rotten most of them are his, and Maddison's Andrea and her Husband mark have a little 3 year old. They were 2 years older than me. Its funny how there realtionshipm started, it started as a one night stand. That resulted in Andie getting pregnant, which resulted in them falling in love. They are the best friends in the world, I could ever ask for. Im sure you will meet them someday." Keria smiled.
"Im pretty sure I will too." Nick smiled "So are you ready to play some minigolf?"
"you know Nick im not so stressed anymore." Keria said in a playfull tone.
"me either wanna make out?" Nick joked.
Keria laughed a little " You know Sorta." Keria giggled
"Well I know the perfect place" Nick smiled and led her away from the glow put door, and off to a different direction. Nick and Keria walking step by step together slowly. Taking every stride one step at a time.
