Author's Response: LMAO Well It wasn\'t cocktease... It actually was just cock LOL. To make a long story short my friend Tri happens to overuse the term cock so much in her stories its become a joke to us and it was kind of like an unofficial dare that I would use it in my story.So hence why Nick called Alyssa a cocktease. Which by the way was extremely funny to me at like 1am last night while writing this for some reason LOL

I leave for 10 ten days to chase that blonde boy you're writing about around New York City and all I get is two chapters when I return?!?!?!?! argh!! hahah Im playing with ya. But seriously.. 58 was really sad. Especially since I'm like a billion times more in love with him then I was before I left.. i could never walk out on him like that lmao. I hate him!!

So is the next chapter the last one? I'm just guessing if they ever get back together it won't be until the sequal lol. that suckssss. But then not really cause that means he's single... and available.. oh wait. my bad. this isn't real lmao. hahah can't wait for the next one...

But right now subbing comes first, so I stayed home and wound up w/a bunch of middle schoolers instead. I wish I could write more! yea i feel your pain. i had no time for the last few months cause i was working two jobs, 12 hours a day. basically to pay for that trip cause I live in chicago lol. im nuts i know. but my boss at my second job called me while i was standing outsider their hotel :-D and demanded to know where I was. So i kinda quit lmao. now i have time and nothing to do with it.

it sucks you couldn't go to NYC though, it was craziness. that blonde one.. hehe, he kissed me hand. ~faints~ Maybe next time though, or maybe he'll do a solo and we can all go nuts!!

oh and i thought it was awesome that you already used lyrics from unbreakable. i was kind of expecting In Pieces to be incorporated cause that one is PERFECT on both sides.

Yea it's on the delux version. I can send it to you if you want. It's really good and fits perfectly for how they were sort of reacting to the breakup. There's a few songs on this album that can work for your story. I was listening to it at work today and i was like ooooh.. that song can work.. ooh.. that one too lmao. you're story haunts me. haha

Yea no picture with Nick for me either (execept for the one of him holding my hand at the signing but that doesnt count lol). But i might be going to a jingleball show in december so if I go and meet him i'll be sure to tell him he owes you a picture lol.

good luck with the car. i loved when i bought my new car; it was just the monthly payments that pissed me off. but just think.. only 5 more years left :/ lol

So, I was trying really really hard to pace myself as I read this story so that you would finish writing before I finished reading. And then on Sunday, I was kinda bored so I read a little more than usualy, and before I knew it, the last 25 of chapters came and went because every time I tried to stop reading, I found myself saying "I gotta know what's gonna happen next." So now I'm stuck impatiently  waiting for more updates lol, but it's totally worth it cause you really are an amazing writer and this is a fantastic story. Can't wait for more!!

(ps. chapter 93 was hot lol!!)

So I was reading the reviews that everyone has posted to see what people think might be going on, and i realized that I, like everyone else but two people, forgot about the dream. But I actually think I know why. I'll be completely honest, in one of the earlier chapters you mentioned something about nick being married to katie and i was like .. WHAT??! lol.. That whole part of under my skin I read over a year ago, and I completely forgot that nick got another girl pregnant and that he ended up marrying her. So, I guess the reason i slipped passed the dream is because the significance of it escaped my memory a LONG time ago. I have a really crappy memory lol, my bad.

on that note, I thought it was an interesting aspect when I read it. To me, it was almost like Nick suddenly felt like he was getting a second chance to have a child, and maybe he wasn't fearing it AS much. At the same time, I think it left him scared shitless because he was probably sitting there thinking.. "look what happened last time.. I don't want to go through that again." And perhaps that's why he uses work as his excuse to not have kids; he knows what it's like to lose one.



Author's Response: Yea I know I kind of abandoned the whole Katie and Serena mystery in UMS for a while, but I'm carrying it over to this story for a few reasons. You'll definitely find out what happened (although I'm sure you have an idea by now) I just wanted to save it to reveal at certain points so it parallells the present. I think it slipped a few readers minds plus I believe I have some readers who may not have read UMS so I placed the dream in there as kind of a reminder as well as the other reasons you mentioned, I think you're right when you say that the loss of Serena had an impact on his desicion to not have kids.

anywho.. comments on alyssa's change.. well, i guess shes become more confident in herself, so thats good because maybe she wont be so uptight. but i kinda got the impression that she was being a little selfish. her wedding wasnt good enough, the reception wasnt good enough, the honeymoon wasnt good enough.... i get what shes saying i guess, but for me, the way i look at it is you either do it, and accept how it as is and just be happy to be married, or dont do it at all. she chose to do it, so i think it was selfish and almost immature to feel so cheated when she knew that's how it would be. So.. im kinda curious to see how her personality will confict with others' as she has more interaction. that's what i think, hope it helped. yay for new chapters!!



Author's Response: Lol Yea I know lots of weddings and I apologize for that. No more weddings for a while I promise lol. Thanks for commenting on Alyssa. I guess I did make her out to sound pretty spoiled in that last chapter *bites lip* Not the greatest since I was trying to get everyone to like her more lol. I don't think she's completely unhappy. Yea, things didn't go according to "plan" but one of the things that she will soon learn is that you can't plan everything in your life. I'm hoping that you'll see more of a change w/ her in subsequent chapters especially when she meets up with Nick again.
