Hello! My name is Danielle. I've been a BSB fan since '97 (Wow, it's been a long time!).
I absolutely adore Brian, always have and always will.
I used to write Backstreet Boys Fan Fiction back in 1999-2001 and just recently discovered that people are still writing (I thought it had died out...). I decided to try it out again! I forgot how much fun it was. :)

Awww Mel, I'm done!!! WOOOOOOO!! Took me long enough eh? I really liked this story. I know you said you got mixed reactions with this ending, but I think it's absolutely perfect. Alyssa and Nick are so incredibly different and they were in different places in their lives that it was doomed from the very beginning. Too many things conflicted with each other, and it sucks that Nick is blaming himself for all of it, and I don't think that's entirely fair. It's just life... plain and simple. They both dealt with the cards that were given to them and they tried, and they genuinely love each other, but it's just not right for them to be together (at least right now anyway). They never seemed to catch a break from the fighting and heartache did they? After one thing came another. Sheesh.

Great job Mel! Really. And congrats for your award! Yaaaaaaaay! You deserve it. I'm gonna start ALTOS now, and hopefully I'll be all caught up in a couple of days lol!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOOOOOOVE 'Better Than Me' By Hinder by the way. I caught myself singing along to the story as I was reading Hehe :)

Yay Dani!!! *claps* I know you've been busy and it's a long story and everything, so I can forgive you. I'm glad you agree with the ending. You're right. As much chemistry Alyssa and Nick have with each other, its just not the time. They need to break apart, sort out their issues and THEN maybe things can change. Haha I love that song Better Than Me and I thought that it REALLY fit exactly how Nick was feeling at the end there. Hinder is exactly uber inspiring. The last chapter I wrote for ALTOS I was playing Lips of an Angel non stop lol

Yay now you can move on to ALTOS which I think is SOOO much better. Yay for being almost completely caught up!

I LOVED this story! It was so cute and so fun to read. I haven't watched Supernatural but I think I may have to now. I've always heard good things about it, but the premise sounds pretty cool. I love how you crossed these two worlds! Very original. My favorite scene was when Sam and Dean broke into Brian's house and Brian came at them with a broom lol Priceless. Anyway, great job!

I never write a review to a chapter when there's already way more story after it, but I can't help myself. I have to head to bed cause I gotta get up at 6 for class, so I can't keep reading, but I just want to let you know Ash, that this chapter is amazing. I cried a little *smiles sheepishly*. It's just so real! I felt like I was there right beside Brian, but being able to feel how sick and off he felt at the same time. It's so incredibly sad and heartbreaking. I cannot wait to read more of this story. First thing tomorrow afternoon when I get home, I'ma continue on with this thing. I don't even know if you'll see this, but who cares! You'll be hearing more from me when I'm done. Your writing is incredible. I'm highly impressed!

Oh Ashley, this story is so heartbreaking. I couldn't help but review again before I get to the end of what you have so far. I absolutely adore this story. You have such a wonderful way with words. You've pinpointed the angst that every person is feeling in this story. It's not just about Brian dying, but it's about all these other emotions and all these other people involved too. You're doing great with this! I can't wait to read more. I hate that I have to go to bed, but I will continue on with this later. Oh! And Leighanne pregnant? My mouth dropped open. Great timing eh? Ashley! Guess what? I finished! Yay! Thank God for the beginning of Spring Break... gotta love that extra time right? And I was so upset when I realized I got to the last chapter of what you have so far. I'm so into this story. I find that whenever I start reading it, I have to force myself to stop, and now when I didn't have to stop, there wasn't anymore to read! Why did you do that to me!?!? lol I love this Ashley, I really do. It's so unique and it's so heartbreaking and I love how you incorporate family and friends and everything in between. You encompass everything and that's not an easy task to do. I nearly cried a couple chapters back when Baylee came outside saying he had a nightmare that Brian had left and he couldn't find him... God, so sad... poor little guy, and I love how they're having a baby girl! I wish that would happen in real life, so I'm just glad to see it in here. And I'm worried as hell that Brian's not gonna get a donor in time, and I'm wondering how this tour is going to go. Ah! I need to know! Is Brian gonna survive? I want more! More more more more more! So I started this story tonight thinking I'd read a couple chapters and continue on tomorrow since I have to work early, but lookie here, I'm finished! Grrrrrrrrr!

This story is AWESOME! I love scary things, though I get scared easily, so this story is great. I remember Fear. It was a great show, and it scared me just watching it... they should really bring it back... but yeah! This is a great premise to base it off of.

I love your writing! I breezed through these chapters... I'm sad there's not anymore :( And I have to admit, though shamefully, that I was scared just reading the damned thing. Some of the images you describe made my skin crawl *shudders* I can't wait to see what happens! It keeps getting better and better. This whole thing with Kevin is very intriguing for sure and I wonder if the little girl is gonna play more of a role later..? You know, if I were any of the guys, I would have left the first night and the fact that they have 4 more days to endure!??! Holy smoly. I can't imagine the kind of crap they're gonna run into. I'm excited to read about it though!

Jesus, how horrible. Poor Brian... I would run my ass out of there if I were him. I can't believe you left us hanging like that! Gah!

You have a wonderful way with words. I love your writing... very descriptive and it flows rather nicely. I loved the image (weird to say I know...) of Brian entering the chapel and catching the stench of the musty dried blood. Very vivid. I felt like I was smelling it along with him lol

I can't wait until the next update! This was awesome!

Oh Mel... *sigh* So I haven't read this story quite yet (I just finished UMS) but when I went to read the first chapter I saw this link and was curious, so here I am. And Mel... I'm totally with you girlie. I don't condone cheating in anyway either, but that doesn't mean I can't WRITE about it. It's too bad people are taking it far too seriously. It's a story, it's fiction... it's meant to entertain, so it's too bad that people are shying away from getting a chance to read a truly good story and to see the bigger picture that's being presented. I'm so happy you're standing your ground though! Course I relate to you cause of USA, so just know that you aren't alone. Your true fans will stick with you no matter what. I'm just sorry you have to deal with it in the first place.
