It wasn’t like I found him attractive though… except for that hair. Good God, his hair looked amazing now that it had been cut.

It's kinda sucky that she keeps playing with him though, saying she loves him, but then just joking about it. Nick's astute isn't he? I wonder how Brian's going to react... hmmmm...

I seriously need to come on here more often, but you know what one good thing is about having barely any free time? When I do come on here, I get a hoard of new chapters! And that makes me very very happy :) Great job girlie!

Author's Response: LOL I'm glad you liked it, because I literally had that paragraph in my head from the day I started writing this story. I think she's joking around with Nick to sort of gauge his reaction to the entire thing... which usually doesn't end up being very good. Somehow I don't think Brian's going to be too happy about this new development, but we'll just have to wait and see. I'm glad you liked it, thanks for your fabulous review hun!

And Danica's list for reasons not to date Nick is pretty extensive and significant, especially the monogamy part. If she knows he's incapable of being faithful, why even risk it? Hmm... would he change for her? Doubtful, but you never know. Either way, I can see that being an issue down the road for these two. Maybe it's wishful thinking but she could go flocking into the arms of an awaiting Brian... *happy dreamlike sigh* lol! Just kidding!

Author's Response: Yup, Dani's perspective of the kiss definitely was cute. She knows Nick pretty well, and she's already analyzing the relationship before it's even really started. You're right, all those things could definitely come up later and be an issue. Interesting theory about running to Brian....hmmmm! We will have to have some discussions on AIM about this ;) I do have two more stories planned for Nick and Danica after this one, so there is still a lot to come. Trust me, I write Danica's uncertainty with much experience! I've been so busy the last week studying for a huge exam, so I haven't had much online time. So I read this chapter when you first posted it, and I could have sworn I left a review, but I don't see it in the comments, which is weird. I was writing and I thought of this story so I came back to read over a couple of chapters and you still haven't updated!!! BAH! I know you must be busy. I know how that goes lol But I loved this chapter. I love these characters. They're very personable, very endearing. I wish Nick would just figure his feelings out already. He's driving me crazy! I wonder how this date with Brian will go? Hopefully it's not too awkward. I forgot how much I adore this story. I hope you can update soon! So I guess you inspired me :) I'm glad you like the characters, because as you know now they're (although very loosely) based on my friends and I. Ugh, I could just sense the awkwardness, and it made me cringe the whole way through! So did she really like it? Or was it really just awkward for her the whole time? Does she like him? Could she like him? I want to know! Brian clearly adores the girl. I can see him getting hurt, of course, but maybe not for awhile. I think it's good that Danica gave him a chance at least. Who knows where it could go.
