Hello! My name is Danielle. I've been a BSB fan since '97 (Wow, it's been a long time!). I absolutely adore Brian, always have and always will. I used to write Backstreet Boys Fan Fiction back in 1999-2001 and just recently discovered that people are still writing (I thought it had died out...). I decided to try it out again! I forgot how much fun it was. :) |

Eight years ago, Ashleigh Dane was just a Backstreet Boys groupie. Now, the memories and feelings about Nick Carter that she had once buried threaten to turn her life upside down.
Awww Ashleigh. Poor girl. She really put her heart into that relationship didn't she? It was her first love, so of course it was all new to her. I can't blame her for being so heartbroken. I can't believe Nick would do something like that, but I'm glad he's making up for it now, even if it is, what, 8 years later? Lovely chapter! You did fabulous, as usual :)
Author's Response: Thanks! It\'s so hard to write these flashback chapters, and they\'re kind of boring now because we already know how this part turns out.. but I just feel awful for Ashleigh.. and I hate putting her through this, but it must be so. It all worked out quite some time later, so that makes me feel a little better about torturing the poor girl now, heh. I was going to put some more jerkish Nick in this chapter, but I think I\'ve written enough of that. Another update will be up soon! Thanks for reading Dani!!
Ugh, Nick is to die for isn't he? I would have jumped across the table and attacked him with kisses. You could definitely see the maturity differences between old Ashleigh and now. She seems more composed, which is a good thing. I see a little reunion between the two perhaps? Excited to see what happens! Absolutely wonderful girlie. The writing is fantastic!
Author's Response: Thanks! Nick is terribly hard to resist, I agree. I\'m glad you\'re noticing the differences in her character in between then and now, I wasn\'t sure it was showing through. But yay! I toyed with a lot of different ideas over the last couple of days but I think I\'ve figured it out... I hope. Nick and Ashleigh are kind of starting to take over the story and pull it in a direction I hadn\'t intended it to go, but it seems to be working! I\'m glad you\'re liking it :)
I just left you a review, and it completely cut it off, so I deleted it and am writing you a new one lol The part where she says "I'm not fucking crazy. I am, however, fucking Nick Carter". Absolutely hilarious! I laughed out loud lol! This fight scene was so fun to read and Matt's such a douchebag. How immature is he to destroy her stuff? Ashleigh definitely made the right decision. And thank God for Joey. Every girl needs a friend like that. I looooooved this chapter Saka! Your writing is wonderful :)

I had so much fun writing their argument, I\'d been waiting to do this scene for a few weeks hehe. Very exciting stuff. I thought about having him throwing her Never Gone CD out the window, but I thought that might just be a little bit too much haha. Joey is wonderful, isn\'t she? I\'m glad you liked this chapter! It\'s definitely one of my favourites :)

This is definitely my favorite chapter so far. I was sad it ended. You really are a great writer. I was totally wrapped in this lol It brought back a lot of memories of their concerts for sure. It's weird that the crazy days of the Backstreet Boys are over, cause I was totally a part of it.. had t-shirts, my walls were completely covered (no joke), had a ton of other useless stuff (that I still have all stuffed in a drawer mind you). Brings back a lot of good memories :) So great chapter! I can't wait to see what went on between Ashleigh and Nick. Sounds like it'll be a great read. I'm impressed :)

Holy God, I loved that chapter. I grinned the entire way through. I would have had an immediate heart attack if I had seen Nick in a club, let alone him actually approaching and talking to me. Loved the whole dancing scene, and I'm highly jealous of Ashleigh. Good for her :) Great update! Lookin' forward for more juiciness!

Oh lord, poor Ashleigh. I really love this story. It's so unique. I've never read a 'groupie' story and it's awesome! I don't know what it is, but I get really into your chapters. I feel like I'm at the concert and then I realize that I haven't been to one in years and it saddens me lol Thanks a lot Sakabelle. Hot, hot, hot! Lucky girl. Losing the big V to Nickers? Gah! The writing was great and you could really tell the lack of intimacy through it, which was so important for a story like this, cause Nick really was just looking to get laid. Of course it meant more to Ashleigh being a fan and all. I was afraid that when he got up to throw away the condom he was gonna ask her to leave (don't know why...) and I could just feel the awkwardness (At least, I'd feel awkward, maybe that's why lol) Great job my love! Loved every word. I can't wait for more.

I friggen love this story. Keeps getting better and better. I'm wondering what exactly went down with Nick and Ashleigh and why she's so angry. Loved Ashleigh mocking Nick, absolutely hilarious. She's adorable. And Joey's a good friend. She seems like someone you can't really stay mad at for long. Anyway, another great update! Update as soon as you can okie dok?

Oh Nick, he wouldn't be so lonely if he didn't go around sleeping with random women! I say he should give Ashleigh a chance. Loved her and Joey's conversation at the end. It was so cute... a conversation any girl would have with a friend if that were to happen. I'm happy she left Nick alone.. wasn't expecting that, and he obviously wasn't either lol Anyway love, great chapter! I really like how you switch off from past and present. You're really good at dialogue. I've always struggled with that. It may seem easy but it's actually not... you got it to flow really well! Loved this chapter. Really want to know what happened between Ashleigh and Nick, especially since he doesn't seem to know what he did wrong. Looking forward to seeing their dinner hehe Great job love!

I\'m re-working this a little bit, the ending I had originally planned doesn\'t seem like it\'s going to work anymore. My characters are pulling the story in a different direction.. so we\'ll see what happens, at this point I\'m not even sure hehe. Thanks for your review Dani :) I always look forward to them! Oy vey. Ashleigh's so incredibly naive and Nick's a hormonal jerkwad. It's obvious he's using her, but she's too excited and therefore blind to see that. I can't blame her though. Idolizing a man for years and then getting to be with him, on more than one occasion, has to be a bit surreal. The dinner was totally awkward. If I were Brian or Leighanne, I wouldn't know what to say to Ashleigh or Joey either lol Gah! Great update. I'm thoroughly enjoying this story! More soon kay?

Nick really is acting like an ass, I feel really bad for her but at the same time it\'s like... she kind of has high expectations for him! Oh well.. Absolutely fantastic! So many cheatin' women in the world... makes for some good friggen drama! Love it! lol You can't really blame Ashleigh for doing what she did because there's so much history there, and it ended on such a bad note, that it was only human nature for her to test something out that could have been before. Many people would have fallen in that trap I think, especially since Ashleigh and her fiancee doesn't seem TOO close (if he had proposed to her after a fight and all...) Glad to see Nick has seen the error of his ways, even if it is 8 years later. I guess we'll see where that leads eh? Wonderful my dear! Keep 'em coming.
