Hello! My name is Danielle. I've been a BSB fan since '97 (Wow, it's been a long time!). I absolutely adore Brian, always have and always will. I used to write Backstreet Boys Fan Fiction back in 1999-2001 and just recently discovered that people are still writing (I thought it had died out...). I decided to try it out again! I forgot how much fun it was. :) |

This was great! After Nick mentioned Celebrity Deathmatch, I went OH YEAH! I completely forgot about that show. They should bring it back. It was fun stuff. And I definitely remember their episode. I liked how you related the boxing ring thing from their concert with this for the challenge. It worked really well, so great job!

So friggen, absolutely, positively, ADORABLE. I love these two. They just make me smile the entire time I'm reading, and let me tell you, that doesn't happen often with me. The fact that it was Nick's idea for her to move in shows a lot in his character and how mature he's become. It's amazing how he went from not caring about her in the least to being so in love. And proposing? *happy sigh* Can't wait to read that part, but I can only imagine that there will be problems in between and even after? Keep 'em coming beautiful! :)

Yay for updateage! Great way to wind down the night. Good ol' Kevin coming to save the day. I love how you included how he's back with the band (I hope that really happens...) and their conversation was good. Nick got some sense knocked into him. At least a little bit. It was good he went and talked to Ashleigh. This pregnancy thing is going to be fun to read about. Nick's attitude toward the baby is bound to change as the months go by. I can see him getting giddy over it lol. It still sorta sucks that Kevin, and therefore probably the rest of the guys, don't think Ashleigh has changed. She has such a horrible reputation doesn't she? Poor girl. Wonderful chapter my dear! And I just read on the board that you have another story idea? I'm intrigued ;)
Author's Response: I hope Kevin returns too, I\'m glad he was able to talk sense into Nick as well. He always fixes things :) Hopefully Nick\'s attitude will slowly change as the months go by, I think his reluctance to have the child is more from fear rather than just not wanting kids in general. And as that happens, perhaps the others will warm up towards Ashleigh as well. I\'m glad you liked this chapter, Dani! I do have another story idea, but I\'m hesitant to stay as I\'ve already got a few other things in progress. Even though I\'ve already outlined the whole thing lol And I branched out! It\'s mostly Brian centered :D
Good for Ashleigh! Nick needed a little slap in the face, cause dear lord, he's acting like a douche. I mean, I can understand being nervous about it, but he loves Ashleigh, and he should know that he'd really have to do a lot to fuck up his kid. Poor Ash dude. She's so excited and Nick just isn't in it with her. I don't blame her for telling him to go back to Florida to figure everything out. I wonder if the tabloids are gonna get wind of this? I guess I can understand Nick\'s nervousness, since he\'s got such a difficult family situation of his own but he\'s still being a pretty big jerk. Hmm, perhaps the tabloids will see Nick returning to Florida alone, we shall see ;) I loved writing their fight hehe, it was so dramatic and fun! They've been together for a year and 4 months? Wow. They're doing really well considering the long distance thing, so it goes to show just how good they're doing as a couple. 'Tis a good sign for sure :) But there's bound to be issues now since they'll be living together. Things change when that happens, so they'll have to adjust to each other's lifestyles. Should be interesting!

Author's Response: Hehe yeah, I couldn\'t just leave them be. Of course I will still be updating Inner Core :) I figured the move was a good place to start. I was thinking of writing the entire long distance relationship as a sequel instead, but I\'m really bad at writing fluff, and I don\'t find it as fun. The two of them living together will most certainly be an adventure. I have to admit, I\'m a little worried about how this is going to be taken, because I\'ve got a lot of painful drama in store for them. Hopefully it goes over well. Glad you liked the opening Dani! They're so perfect for each other, but I can understand Ashleigh's reservations, not only cause her last engagement didn't go well, but because the entire situation was awkward. She was uncomfortable to begin with and she was being silently scrutinized by everyone because of how she used to be, so how else was she supposed to respond? Nick's in love and all but boy, he sure needs to think about these things. I wonder how this engagement conversation is going to go between them. Should be interesting lol GREAT chapter!

Things have been going well between them, so I guess he figured it was the logical next step. Either way, this will be the beginning of some fun drama. Eeeek! Poor Nick... he has no idea, and he's so happy. But I'm glad that Ashleigh is going to talk to him about it, because it wouldn't be fair to either of them if she just went along with it just to keep him happy. How sad, truly. Holy moly, I'm sorry it took me so long to review Steph. Everytime I'd find 5 minutes, I'd be a couple paragraphs into the chapter and then something would come up and I would be wisked away, but yay, I finally finished it! I'm happy that they finally talked and that Nick understands her reasoning somewhat. I'm just fast forwarding to a time when he would want to propose again... how is he gonna know if she's ready or not? If I were him, I'd be terrified. I'd second guess myself constantly, unless she somehow blantantly said she wanted to get married lol But yeah, wonderful! I'm 'patiently' waiting for more *poke poke*

Ashleigh was kind of acting bitchy... especially after shooting him down. But I think she sort of clued into the pregnancy possibility, and that might have been why she was on edge. Fucking hell Nick. I was so angry when he suggested an abortion so quick like that. I knew he'd be shocked, but for him to not even contemplate keeping the baby? Jeez. He royally pissed me off there.
