It's the winter of 1995 and as Nick and the boys are on tour, he finds himself growing anxious for unexplained reasons. As he slowly discovers the truth behind his fears, he is thrown into a world he had forced himself to forget.
"You guys didn't actually think i'd make it that easy to find out what's happening did you?" I was hoping! :-0 Now, what has happened to Bob? And who is the man "following" Nick? Curiouser and curiouser.
“He’s not alone.” Kevin said as he walked around the corner. “He’s with me.” This was my favorite part! I love me some protective Kevin!
Once again, great installment, Mare. I'm looking forward to the next update!

This has been my first week of school with the kids and I really needed this diversion. I missed the appearance on Geoge Lopez, but AJ really had me laughing with his clown-phobia. I love the light heartedness of this chapter after all the previous angst and drama. "Mr. Stalker" has become very bold, hasn't he?! Another great installment, Mare. And I hope your day ends with a better night.

Mare, I'm sorry for my lack of feedback on this story; but, I really did enjoy it. I like the ending....it's like it came full circle with Nick regaining memories and eventually losing them. Having "Andrew" a part of the bands detail was ingenious. I loved all the twists and turns in the story and not knowing who to trust. It's everything I like in a suspense story. Again, great job Mare....but, then again, I expect nothing less from you.

If I had to choose only one word to describe this story, it would be wicked! There were so many twists and turns, at times, I felt I was on a rollercoaster. I thought this was going to be a simple "who-done-it," but it wasn't. Not only did we find out who done it; but why they did it! The title was so appropriate. Bravo....this was a very good read!
The week before Millennium is released, the Backstreet Boys are on top of the world. They can sense their lives are never going to be the same, but unfortunately, they didn't intend for it to happen quite the way it did. Once they board a small private plane to take them to do some press in Philly, things take a drastic turn.
Awwww....poor Brian. It's like talking to the other Nick finally made him accept his Nick's death.
Hey, I actually thought about them crossing over into another universe!

I understand AJ's anger and this small part of me was saying "do it, AJ." But, I was really glad AJ did not kill the kid....after all, he is Nick. However, I don't know if I could be as caring as Howie.
On to part B, Mare.
Thanks, Pammy. I thought it was important to show two sides of Nick. This one is probably how I'd react. Defensive yet scared to death. I could see AJ being that angry but I don't think he would ever actually kill him.
I like this, Mare. He's the same character but I'm getting two very different views of him. The Nick of Part A is so angry, but in survivalist mode....him or me. Whereas the Nick of Part B seems, to me, more frightened and running back to his comfort....his "big brothers."
The Canadiens using brainwashing to use kids as their fighting force is a brilliant idea, even if it is immoral.
AJ, going back and forth between anger and sympathy toward Nick is understandable.....I find myself doing the same thing. However, what surprised me was Brian and Kevin's reactions.
I'm will look forward to reading more.

Thanks again! This time it's Brisn who is angry and not quite as forgiving but Nick is softer. It's kind of fun writing two versions of the same thing lol
"Even creepier was the fact that Brian was sleeping in the same room as the dead body of Nick. He said he knew Nick wouldn’t want to be left alone. He hated the dark so he decided to sleep on the floor next to him." - Okay, I'll admit that I did find this a little creepy, but incredibly sweet and sad.
Destroying the city.....I guess when hope seems to be lost, drastic measures must be taken.
I know that's the other Nick outside! And although AJ is angry, he will never be able to kill him just as Kevin was unable to do it.

I am really feeling Kevin's pain here. I have been in that position before when I want to say, "Don't talk to me; don't touch me." Really powerful, Mae. Well, I guess it's the end of this world, as they know it. Funny that they need to get to the museum of natural history to get away from this unnatural place. BTW, I voted, but let me tell you.....it was a difficult choice!

Grief is a really personal thing and I know for me, I hate when people pat my back and try to console me. I just transferred that into Kevin. I love the Museum of Natural History. It's one of my favorite places in NYC. Thanks for voting and for the feedback, Pammy!
Very emotional. I'm a little like Brian in that I don't like people to see me crying. It's not that I'm really embarass; it's just that my grief is private.

And the creepiness continues.....Philadelphia a seeming ghost town, actual gallows at the museum, and men with weapons seemingly coming out of nowhere, And oh yeah.....the Backstreet Boys finding pamphlets on how to hunt and kill celebrities!

Have I ever told you how much I love your writing from Nick's POV?! It always provides some type of comic relief....and I have a feeling that we will need some comic relief in this story. I love the way you have me caught up in Nick's excitement about the album release; yet, there's still some trepidation, on my part because I already have a glimpse of what's going to happen. Great job, Mare. Looking forward to the next installment.
