I am a Certified Public Accountant from Manila, Philippines. I am married and mother of 2 naughty but cute boys. I've been officially a BSB fan the day I saw I want it that way video and was mesmerized by Brian's smile. I am an AJ's girl though.... (See my penname) :) I've wanted to be a writer for the longest time but I started to write fan fiction in 2009. I stumbled upon the world of fan fiction in 2007, and when I learned that there are sites (like AC) who are hosting stories; I tried to write one, and 'Back to your heart' was born. Please bear with me for the grammar and punctuation mistakes. English is not my native (first) language but rest assured that I am trying my best everytime I write. |

An A-rok chapter! I loved it, Mare. I almost cried with Brian as he broke down but laughed instead when they said I love yous to each other. lol. That was so cheesy, but I liked it! I love how Brian's anger and frustration brought out the side of him that he doesn't know yet. :)

Author's Response: Perhaps? LOL well yeah you know already so... but a lot of people thought it was Kevin and Nick. As far as Leighanne... lol
I don't think it would be that easy, that Tim would bring Nick to the hospital. He is Tim's new favorite person, right? lol
I hope Captain Blake and Special agent Pagano would hurry up. Talk to AJ and Brian already, and start searching for the cabin. :)

A-rok chapters overload! lol. Aside from Tim and the brilliant, creative way of writing, having so many A-rok moments make this story one of my favorites now. lol
I love AJ's outburst. It was sooo AJ. lol. Now, is the impatient wife already in the hospital or still impatient while waiting for news about her husband? :)
I'm all caught up now, Mare. I miss the 'next' button. It's saturday now, 2:06 pm here, 6:06 pm in the Philippines, but I am not sure what time for you over there. Guess, I'll wait for your update tonight. :)

Tim's dad is beyond crazy. I hope he only lives in fiction world. I actually thought Tim's dad 'touched' him when they were in the camping ground. You were right, Mare, it's better not to know that secret. So he was killing someone while poor little Timmy was waiting for him during one of his birthdays. Crazy, sick person. I wonder if Tim's mom found out about this so she decided to take her life.

Author's Response: Yeah, I wouldn't go that route! It's one thing to make his dad a psycho killer, I find that less disturbing then him being a pedophile. LOL And yes, that's exactly what he was doing while Tim was waiting for his birthday presents. :O( If Tim's mom knew it would be a good enough reason to end her life I imagine, although you'll find out a bit more about her today. :O) Thanks, Ritz!
Now that the 5 ladies are in the hospital together, can it be revealed now who was the impatient wife? lol I love the difference between Rochelle and Leighanne. I believe that if this really happened, rochelle, Leigh and Lauren would stick together. They are very close. I'm just not sure if Kristin would join them or she'd be with Leighanne. I love Kristin, she's my favorite Backstreet wife while Rochelle is my favorite Backstreet baby's mother (what?! lol). I love how you wrote them. :)

Now, about poor Timmy. He could be abducted, son of his father with another woman, son of the killed stripper, and so on... I am just glad that Marilyn loved Tim as her own child and despite the psychotic tendencies, she never hurt Tim, or did she? Was Tim aware of her mother's mental illness? Poor Timmy, he will devastated once he finds this out, and if his biological parents are still alive, knowing what their son turned into will hurt them big time.
So the hundred thousand dollars money Tim found was not just the reason why they ran away. Tim's father wanted to escape all those long list of charges.
It is okay for me to wait as long as all the questions will be answered. lol. Lots of questions are running through my mind now. Who was visitor no. 1 and especially no. 2, the one who was talking to Tim's mother? Was Candice supposed to be a victim of his father? Did Marilyn found out that her husband was a psycho killer. Who was Tim's biological mother? And the list goes on... :)
Author's Response: The wives are pretty unimportant in this but judging by the scene they had, you could probably tell who the impatient, rude one is. I can see Kristin being close to all the others and not just Leighanne, she's related but not by choice lol. Glad you enjoyed how I wrote them. That's probably all you'll see of them if I can help it. You can have a crush on Captain Blake if you'd like, I'm sure he'd appreciate it and Yes. Marilyn did love him, but keep in mind if he was kidnapped she also knew that as well. I don't want you to be disappointed so I'll just say some of those questions you asked were never intended to be answered. The visitors at the beginning of the story were observed by Tim much the same way the readers observed them and it's doubtful he'd ever find out more about that or anyone else who could help to enlighten you. I like to always include things like that in my stories to keep people guessing and drawing your own conclusions about what could have possibly happened. Some of the other stuff, you will find out about. Thank you for the long review! I love reading your thoughts on things.
first of all, yay for posting early. It's saturday afternoon here and I thought you'd be posting later (saturday evening for me). And another yay for tomorrow's update. :)
Howie-Kevin scenes are always a bit awkward for me, maybe because I see them both as the big brothers of the group and they supposed to comfort the younger ones not each other. But this chapter is good and actually worth the one week wait even though I was hoping for anothet interlude chapter, I'm dying to know what Pat and robert found out about timmy.
This will end soon? do you mind telling us how many chapters left? But if it will ruin the element of surprise, it's okay don't tell me. lol
Howie, I do believe in you. you might be able to knock out tim for a while but the three of you won't get far. Remember Nick passed out and Kevin's ankle is swollen. They're both 6 footer. lol
Author's Response: Howie and Kevin scenes are just as awkward to write for the very same reason but in this story I have tried to spread the love and bonding as much as possible to try to please everyone. You have your Brian, AJ, Kevin scenes and then Nick and Howie, and of course Nick and Kevin and now Howie and Kevin. Perhaps later some other pairings and bonding will occur but that was purposeful. As far as how many chapters, just one more! LMAO JUST KIDDING!! Honestly, I couldn't even answer that question if you wanted me to because I have no clue. I don't outline or anything I just have a vague idea of scenes etc... when I started this thing I thought I'd be done within 25 so shows you how much I know. Impulsive, clever Howie! and I thought he stormed out of the bedroom carrying the piece of wood or the arrow and ready to kill Tim, but he has other plans! Yay for him making Tim sip that coffee. It kinda sucks that Tim misunderstood him and ready to kill Nick.
I hope you finish that chapter you're working on, and I do hope it's an interlude one. I think I can wait one more week before finding out if Howie successfully stopped Tim from Killing Nick but not the stuff those agents found out about Tim. I'm dying to know if they have an idea who they are dealing with. :)

Author's Response: Well the good news is, the one I am working on is an interlude chapter! The bad news is, I'm writing ahead of myself so the next one to be posted is a resolution to what just happened. The interlude chapter will be posted next week, unless I don't finish it in which case you'd have to wait one more week since it's chapter 35. lol I know it seems odd but I know myself and once I allow myself to catch up, the updates will be fewer and further apart. So, Tim will have to remain a mystery for just a while longer (not to say that you'll find out anymore in the interlude. hrmmm lol) thanks, Ritz!

Yay, Howie! Finally, you did something right! I just hope that you'd be able to come out of that place and get to the town to get the help needed, and if you ever get to town you can tell the police how to get back to the cabin before it's too late.
I hope there'll be 3 chapters again next weekend, or am I asking for too much? Anyway, since the next interlude is chapter 35, it is sure that it'll be posted next weekend so I'm good. lol
I have accepted the fact that Nick will die in this story, if he will not then good. I just hope not Howie! He'd be through a lot in this story and he needs to be alive. lol.

It's hard to choose between Kevin and Tim who's going to die. But since the next chapter is an interlude one, this nightmare isn't over which means Tim couldn't be dead now. I just hope Kevin was hit on his broken ankle... oooops. lol
Poor Howard. I just hope that the chopper will find him before Tim does.

Whoa! Was that for real? Howie was saved, just like that? When I read he was found, I was waiting for something to happen. Like the police would get lost and by the timd they'd be there, Tim got there first and killed those who found him. Lol
Poor Kevin, it must have been so scary and helpless to watch Nick being dragged away. Glad he seems fine, though.

Poor little Tim... There are times I want to hug him so tight and tell him everything would be alright and he is loved. No one deserves to live the way he did. So much emotional abuse...

Damn, I was wrong. I thought AJ and Brian were trapped because they can never lived with the fact that they were saved and had less injuries than the three. That they were lucky and the others weren't.
Howie is lost, Kevin is broken and Nick is the prisoner.... Literally. Lol
You are a one creative genius, Mare. I love the heavy impact of this chapter. It seems like just a simple scene from the hospital but it sums up the whole story. I love how Howie was with every scene... And poor AJ... I want to give him a hug. :(

That makes me feel slightly better! LOL Aw thanks for the compliment as well! I needed one of the guys to be linked to every scene and I figured Howie was the perfect one. I really did my best to try not to have the poor guy neglected in this story. And yes, poor AJ! :O(

I love how Tim's smile sent a goose bump on Robert's... An agent like him should have been used to these kind of people and yet Tim managed to scared him a little. Lol. That's my favorite scene.... :)

Awww Tim.... I am just so glad you are making progress. That you are taking responsibility for what you did. It still breaks my heart knowing that you might not have turned into this if you weren't kidnapped by your 'father'. Everyone deserves a happy and normal childhood. You will get better and hopefully before your life expires, you'd get to experience a normal, happy life. The letters are great. I'm happy you thought of that.
Mare, does Kevin's line "At least I'm alive" means anything? I hope Nick is alive, though it's kinda okay if he isn't. :)
I will understand if you will post the final chapter when everyone is back from the cruise. I'd wait. *winks*
