That's the saddest thing I've read so far in the story! - Eva has to put her guard down or she will have no one to care about her the way Brian does!

While the entire line can't be attributed to the situation, the first part was for my co-author Sassy Nurse A.  She's kind of the inspiration behind Eva and was going through a particularly rough patch and it seemed to be something she needed to hear.  So it served a dual purpose.  Please keep reading, I promise, it's not all so sad.  :)  And thanks for letting us know!
