Author's Response: All will be revealed... eventually little by little throughout the rest of the story. This was just the first mention of them. I suppose I could\'ve waited for later in the story to drop the bombshell, but I didn\'t want it to seem like oh yea I just randomly decided Nick should have a kid lol. Author's Response: Thanks Andrea! Unfortunately the Katie/ Serena mystery is going to take quite a bit to inwravel. Katie\'s pregnancy of course has had a huge impact on Nick and Alyssa\'s relationship, so there will be a lot of things that happen while she is pregnant that will be covered in flashbacks before you learn what happened to her. And of course Nick and Alyssa are going to be meeting up again in the present pretty soon again, so that\'ll take center stage for a bit.
