Summary: Past Featured StoryOn the way home from the grocery Amber is raped, shot and left for dead in a dark and abandoned alleyway. Hours later, by a chance of luck, the Backstreet Boys bus drives through the alley in attempt to hide and make a clear getaway from a mad mob of fans. Seeing a "lump" in the middle of the alley, the bus stops and what they all is a young girl, barely clinging to life. Calling for an ambulance, Amber is taken to the hospital in critical condition. The Boys all wait there to make sure that she is okay. Somehow along the way, they offer friendship to the frightend girl who's parents have disowned her and has nowhere to go. The Boy's take her, but she is standoffish and often afraid of them being near her. With time, will Amber learn to trust again, or will she live out her life afraid of men in general

Hey, I loved this story! I'm glad I didn't discover it 'till it was already finished because I would have been too impatient to wait between chapters -lol. I was so captured that I read the whole thing in like 3 days.

I actually really like this story so far. I mean its early in the story yet and I hate to sound surprised. lol. But It's different. Plus I'm sort of a comic book nerd. I love people with powers. I can't wait to find out what all their powers are. Reading this makes me want to write that Firefly fanfic I've thought of in the past. Ever seen it? Or the movie Serenity? I'm in love with that series. The movie could have been better, butt he series is like one of my favorites ever. Ok, sorry. I don't think I've ever read any of your stories before, so I'll warn you about my rambling reviews now... (I talk too much) anyway. I like how this is written so far. Like 95 % dialog. That's hard to do. I couldn't pull it off. Well done there and well done for keeping my interest through yet another chapter. (That's also hard to do.) If I make it through more than like 5 chapters of a story its like a miracle. lol. I sort of suck like that. But this one intrigues me and it's bringing out the si-fi nerd in me that I don't let out very often. lol so hopefully I will see it through to the end. (or all that's posted anyway)

Thank you so much for finding the time to read the story and for the long reviews that I'm really enjoying :) I'm not a comic book reader but I like sci-fi movies and love people with powers too hehe. I have only seen an episode of Serenity but I thought it was a good show so I'll have to look out for the DVDs at some point because I'm curious about the show and the movie. Yay to sci-fi nerds :)

OK, I'm tired, I must stop for now. lol. I love all the different dynamics in the relationships. You're very good with your character development. I love how you have AJ and Nick always at each others throats. And the the relationship between both AJ and Howie, and AJ and Kevin are very realistic to me. Plus, I like Jeff. He could be my hero too, I've decided. lol. I'm so curious to see where all of this is going. I'm definitely "hooked" now. Props to you hun, because I can't remember the last time I couldn't wait to be able to pick a story back up. I'm sure I'll be back soon. Oh, AND, I also love the fact that you chose to tell this story from AJ's POV. He's the one I probably connect with the least normally so I like that I'm getting a glimpse into his mind here.

Seriously, I don't know how you do it. That whole chapter was just dialog. I haven't really read another story like that before. It's sort of baffling. I also thought this was a very creative way to introduce a lot of their powers. Awesome job. So far, my theory is that Jeff is a human with powers like them. But I'm often waaayyy off with my theories. Hahahahaha ANyway, just have to say again how much I am enjoying this story. Going to read more tonight after I put the kids in bed. Yay! Then I will probably story by the message board and tell everyone over there that they need to read it too!!! It's a nice different fun story. Yay Marina!

awwww. That was really sweet. I love those cute little guys. (hehe little, cause really those Backstreet boys are just tiny in real life, well not nick, but you know what I mean.) Anyway, Wow. I have been so caught up in this story I forgot to review each chapter. But the story is so fascinating. It's really kind of tragic. But I love all the depth you've out into it. I love finding out about the history bits and pieces at a time. I kind of feel like AJ feels. Like everyone knows more than I do and I just want the truth. That is brilliant on your part because it makes us (the readers) really understand AJ and what he's going through. I feel like I can understand everything he's thinking and feeling and I just feel so bad for him and scared for him and frustrated all at the same time. But then he talks to his brothers and they love him so much that you feel relieved and you just want to cry for them all. Very well done Marina, I'm not kidding! I am in LOVE with this story!

awwwww. that was the sweetest chapter ever! I loved it!! AJ calming Kevin down. *tears* Seriously, great chapter! I also loved the flashbacks. Great back stroy. It explains a lot about Kevin. He's even more of a tragic character. Why is it the leaders cures to always have to bear the burden alone? It seems its that way with all great heros.

LMAO they all see themselves hurting each other and Nicky sees a girl. That made my day. Of course she's more intricate to the plot than that, but still great way to lighten a stressful moment. Great job! And these rebel visitors coming aboard and Nick going to the rebel base... things are getting interesting! Can't wait to see what happens next!

I'm going to be really sad when I reach the last posted chapter. I think you should update. lol as if you've never heard that before. Btu really, I will be sad when i don't get to read the ending. You're right, these little bsb chapters are really cute and it's fun catching a glimpse of them growing up, but I am really fascinated by the Nicky dreams subplot. I know it all ties in together, but I love how you're doing it. Great job as always!
