Then things happened which forced him to get to know that kid a little bit better. Sometimes we all need to grow up and realize that things aren't always like they seem. Ahhh one thing I love about old school stories. The Nick goes and does something because he's upset and possibly ends up risking his own life! I love it.

LMAO at Nick's "secret" and I love that suddenly this is a suspense fic or at least suspense tinged. I should've known. I don't blame Nick for being upset but I do wish Kevin would take the time to realize why Nick needs them so badly.

Awwwww this was bromantic and adorable. *throws Nick's shoe at Kevin* That was for his word vomit! But they really are cute. I always sorta liked their juxtaposed relationships when it came to their siblings vs the group.

Aww no struggling! I love this story, it contains all my fave things about older fics that take place back in the day. My fave line this chapter was Nicks analogy about Kevin's negativity. The eyebrows came at a close second.
Author's Response: Lots of struggling. I'm counting on feedback to pull me through this one! I had even thought of putting it on hiatus which is something I have never ever done! The guys need to do something that will not make me mad in real life or have an incredibly warm and fuzzy moment. Especially Nick, Kevin and Howie. That doesn't involve a cruise or a New Kid! Okay the actual chapter. I love the parallels you drew between Kevin and his brothers vs Nick and them. I've always enjoyed that juxtaposition and I keep telling myself I need to do an old school story on those two so I could really use it LOL. Nick's got a point too. I mean he needs to be watched but he's not wrong about the how he acts/how he's treated. I hope you find a way to get a new computer :(

This chapter happend to post pretty nicely but I had also saved it as an html file before the computer died. I love the paralells between Nick & Kevin too. Actually Nick & Howie as well which is coming up in another chapter that I hope will now NOT include murdering rabbits. Lol I don't see a new laptop in my future unless I steal one or someone gives me one, sadly. We'll keep our fingers crossed.

I'm late but I love this chapter. I'm glad Howie FINALLY got through Kevin's thick head to help him see what's beyond Nick's actions. I feel like my favorite thing about this story is the fact Kevin is so kickable in this one LOL. He's not perfect and he doesn't have the answers. But he's struggling to find them in effort to help Nick.

This was a cute chapter. LOL at Howie being so easy to manipulate when he's sleeping. I also enjoyed the learning to fight bonding scene. Very cute. Especially Kevin's jealousy.
