Author's Response: I figured that I needed to start out with a chapter that was light and fluffy to balance out what is about to come. Originally, I had started with the chapter that explains what has happened to Howie, but then I changed my mind. That being said, I should have the Howie chapter up soon. :P

So I clicked on this because it's you Steph and I know how good a writer you are. And even though I'm not much of a slash reader in the BSB fandom SAMS did make me more open minded about it. I like how this is an AU but sort of not. The "What If" of the BSB fandom and where that could've gone. I like that you still retained some BSB history like AJ/Howie seeing Nick at auditions and I'm curious to see where you take this

I love this. I love the contrast in the Frick and Frack bromance versus the Nowie bromance. I love how you pointed out how similar Brian are. This is wrong but I ADORE that you Lucilled Nick! LMAO.
Author's Response: Thanks! I think the Brian/Howie relationship is interesting because they are similar in so many ways, yet seem the least close out of the five of them. Then I thought about how that might be because there's always been sort of an unsaid rivalry between them - competing over solos, being Nick's bestie. I have no doubt that they love each other just like the rest of the guys, but I wanted to explore that slight resentment they may secretly have toward each other, and it just made sense to put Nick at the center since they both have such a special relationship with him. And yes, I couldn't just have him get into a car accident or something boring like that. Let's hope he stays clear of Lucille at Walker Stalker! :) I'm glad you liked it! Thanks again!
