I'm a single mother of two beautiful children. And as you can see, my stories are of Nick Carter/Backstreet Boys. Yes, I have an infatuation with Nick, lol. I love to read fan fic about him and the other Boys but mostly Nick stories. I'm still fairly new at the whole authur business and am still learning. But I am looking forward to posting new things that may pop into my mind. I seem to do better with short stories and have just recently posted my first long story. We'll see how that goes. When Courtney embarks on a trip of scientific discovery, she ends up triggering a chain of events that changes her life forever.
That was so sweet of them to actually be working together for her..and the babies. To put all else aside and try to make her more comfortable. So much less stressful for her and the babies.
And Jane..well, now that Nick knows about her as early as he does now, maybe that will make some more positive changes for him..and the rest of his family, in the future. That's at least one positive out of all this.

Nice job Leighanne. From the looks of things, we are staring down the road to the old life only Nick and Court are getting a jumpstart on it. Which is exactly what I was hoping for!! I really hope you don't crush my dreams here Jen!!!! And Nick's!!! :p
Author's Response: LoL. In Court's defense, the I love you's may or may not be the result of pregnancy hormones. :) But you're right, I want to kick fanfic Brian for only calling once!
Ok...here goes!! I found myself giggling and snorting and just full out belly-busting laughing thru this chapter! But now I'm sitting here in tears!! I think I gave myself whiplash with these feelings! lol!
First of all...the names for the vagina party people..I can't even TYPE that without laughing my fingers off the keys!
Second..how could she NOT fall in love with Nick? The way he was all thru the labor. Its not even REAL and it made me love Nick even more! LOL!! Brian totally pussied out (no pun intended ;P) or..he just knows that its going to be Nick that's going to be there for these kids and he let him do the honors. I guess we'll see later?
But at the end..when she named her Winnie...The floodgates opened on my eyes! That was THE sweetest thing EVER! Now...now to see if Baby Winnie makes it!
(But I do wanna know what she WAS gonna name her...my curiosity is so peeked now!)

I love how you describe the after events of giving birth. Totally DEAD on!! lol And I about lost it at cooch bath!! Ohhhh the memories of the sitz baths! Nick is the sweetest thing to her...no wonder she's fallen for him faster this time around. And things are looking up with Brian as well.......

I'm so sad that poor Baylee will cease to exist now! I'll keep my feelings about Leighanne to myself..;P But poor Brian. Now I'm just left wondering if Nick is right..if Brian will again, be the shitty father like before, only for a different reason now, or if he will pull out of this after a while and be a good dad to his kid(s). It's going to be so interesting to see what you do with this. Again, the choices..so many different ways this could go!!! Which is exactly WHY I'm loving this story so much!!! And yay for Ben going home!! Can't wait to see what's in store for Winnie!

I'm glad she called Kal. Doing that all alone is HARD..its hard enough with 2 but doing it by yourself? (single mommy here!!) Which makes me wonder how they are gonna do this since right now is the time that BSB is on top of the world and...GONE...all the time. I hadn't really thought about that part before. Guess Court didn't really either. And like her, wondering how its gonna go now with Leighanne being out of the picture. Can't wait to see it all unfold!!!

And, you're right. Having two babies at the height of Millennium and all THAT craziness? There's no way that won't have an effect on things. :) Good? Bad? Hmmm that is the question...

I'm so happy Winnie has made it through surgery!!! EEEEEK!!! But I'm worried about Brian. Showing up drunk for his daughter's surgery is not a good sign. But, I am happy that he seems to be accepting of Nick and Court's relationship. He could be putting up a hella fight considering he just lost Leighanne. Will it last tho???? :)

I'm sure Nick did have some abandonment issues when Kevin decided to leave..with all that he went thru with his own family. He must have found such comfort in his new "family" and to watch it all kind of falling apart on him..I can't even imagine.

I'm really liking this "rewrite". I liked the other version as well, but I like this whole "Ghost of Christmas Past" kinda thing you got goin on here. I like where its going because I know of all the reserch you put into doing this story and I can't wait to see where all you take us!!

Author's Response: Rewrite and sort of a remix from the original idea LOL. I'm glad you're enjoying my Backstreet Spin on the whole A Christmas Carol thing but without the holiday! LOL. A lot of my video watching and book reading was so I can do my best to really capture the feel of the time periods I'm covering. It's easy to forget the journey since they're so happy now. And yay for reviewing! I'm so proud of you!
Grace is a smart one...showing him what happened BEHIND the scenes..stuff he didn't hear/see...he really needs that right now. The very end of this chapter had me in near tears. Every chapter you have written seems like its EXACTLY what happened. Nice job at writing this so realistically!!! Loving it!!

Knowing the pictures, this just brought them to life! I wouldn't be shocked at ALL if this is exactly how it went down. I really enjoyed the banter between the 3 of them..especially Kristan..lol Nice touch!! Very cute! But yet, we ALL know Nick just wants to bone Kev's wife...:p

Lol I always felt at this time Kristen got along with Nick the best out of the wives/girlfriends. Probably because she'd been there since the beginning. Not that Nick wouldn't mind getting with her. Sounds like Kevin is reacting to Nick's situation from experience. But...I can't help but wonder if the situations are similar at all..from Nick's reaction AFTER he ran out. Can't wait to see how this is gonna turn out!

I knew as soon as Kevin started texting he had Nick's phone..lol Man, it feels like these two have kinda switched places in this story. Nick is the more responsible one and Kevin is the one fucking up..lol And, Kevin is realizing it! And the line "She mucked me" STILL has me giggling like a fool!
Its always amazed me how it feels like you've crawled in these guys' heads cuz I can always see/hear them doing exactly what you write them doing/saying. Its a gift!
Author's Response: It really does kind of feel like they've switched roles a little bit. Who knew THAT was possible without making them fabulously unrealistic, huh? ...I'm having a lot of fun messing around with them (mucking around with them?)... This story has been simmering for awhile and I'm really glad to finally be getting it posted for everyone to read. That clip of the movie on cruise really helped with a lot of the details of the rewrite. I had no idea Kevin was this fun to write, by the way. I should probably write him more often. lol
