I really loved how you portrati Brian (I love him, he's my favourite to write and read about!), his inner conflict to be angry with God for what he's going through and, in the same time, to need him more than ever. I understand his choice, especially for not wanting to give his son bad memories of his last days. But, I see Amanda's point, not wanting him to give up and to be there for the people he loves and who love him.
Now it will be interesting to see Nick's point of view about all this story.
At this point, I'm still debating if I like Amanda or not, and I think it's the second.
I really hope that Brian tells Nick what he has found and not to hide for fear it will hurt him.
Oh... poor Brian, as he has nothing else on mind... oh, yes, the dying thing!!!
I really hope that he stay true to his thought and throw her out of the plane!! But it wouldn't be so Christianly!!!
There's a reason why Nick called Brian a little pitbull and you show us!!!
Add on... or Nick doesn't want to see how sick is Brian or Brian is really a good actor!!!

The confrontation is just... wow! Brian was not only angry for what she's doing to Nick, but Brian himself put a lot of trust in Amanda and felt so betrayed!
That's why he was so angry with Amanda!

I feel sorry for Amanda but she's getting what she deserved. And Brian... poor thing, trn between Nick, which he's his best friend, and Amanda.
But Nick... I totally understand him, he's been always backstabbed for his fame and celebrity and when he thinks to finally have found The girl, he discovers that she's a reporter who wanted to write a story of him and his dying best friend.
I can0t wait for the next chapter, see how Brian calm him.

Maybe you should put out when tha POV change because you change it and it's a little hard to understand which boy is talking (or maybe it's only me since english it's not my first language! =)
By the way, keep going bacuase I really like it!

Oh my Gosh, I didn't think I would cry more than the ending of Something Beautiful, and here I am, crying over this simple but deepful words from Brian to Nick.
Girl, you totally addict me to this story! At first, I didn't want to read it because I really don't like Nick centerd story but you tend to insert all the guys and I really love how you portray the Frick&Frack's relationship. So I read it, even if I'm on holiday and internet connection really sucks! and now I just wanna read more about it, how Nick really lost everything (and I have a feeling that Brian and maybe all the other guys are dead ç__ç). I really love the moment when Nick pray before eating!
Author's Response: I try to always have the other guys involved, even if it's in minor parts. I'm glad you're enjoying the story! I hope you keep enjoying it! I love the prayer moment, too. lol Writing a prayer in Nick's vocabulary was an interesting experience. LOL
