This chapter made me teary, as you kept shifting from '93 to '15, because it shows the way everything has drastically and tragically changed. However one thing still remains - the love that Nick has for his "big brother" and hopefully Brian can still feel that too. The other thing that makes me emotional is the gentle love and devotion of a son for his father *sob* Great story! Please update!

Oh my God :(
I thought in the beginning of the story that Brian had been forced out of the group by the other guys because his voice had deteriorated(sort of reflecting somewhat on his real life vocal issues)but now I fear that it is his mind deteriorating(Alzheimers) or maybe memory issues from some kind of brain trauma. Those are my guesses now :(

ah, you see, my guess is that if it had just been his voice that was screwed up, they would have kicked him out a long time ago (in real life at least) it's more complicated than that.
Almost finished another chapter. I don't think I've ever written a story this quickly.
