Author's Response: It is a big difference even from ALTOS right? It is even weird for me to write them so happy and cute LOL. Shayla IS delusional... She's not dealing with a full deck, so of course she'd think that Nick would come back to her especially since he has in the past. I think now she is realizing though that it's not going to happen so now she's going to make him pay lol.

Author's Response: Yea Shayla has NO clue what Alyssa and Nick know about her although they are saving that tidbit for a last resort if things get that extreme. I'm glad that you thoght the amount of backstory was just enough. That was really hard to decide how much to recap because I don't want it to sound repetitive from ALTOS, but I akso have to write from the perspective of someone who might wander onto this story without reading ALTOS. Wow, lots to take in. I'm glad that nick and alyssa are happy and strong and have finally rebuilt their relationship. Obviously life is about to get realllly interesting for both of them with this divorce deal, but I think, even if they are unsure themselves, they can handle it. I'm excited to read the rest and see how this all finally comes to an end, hopefully a happy one lol. Good luck with the story!

Oh yea and Diane is Nick's publicist. There was a scene with her in ALTOS but back like in Chapter 20. It's ok if you don't remember. You'll see more of Diane in Chapter 3.
