Okay now I'm REALLY confused, I need another update STAT! I can't even think of Nick dying even if it's in a story :(

Okay I was NOT expecting that but I can see where Nick is coming from, he loves her enough to let her go and try to have a normal life. I really hope they can work things out.

Aww man! This chapter brought tears to my eyes. You've really played with my emotions with these last few chapters. I was all excited that they were back together and then Howie gets sick. You suck! Kidding lol

No not Howie! Even though I knew this was coming it was still really hard to read. I'm a big fan of slash stories and this one really tugged at my heart. But at least Nick was there with him in the end.
Author's Response: Aww, thanks! I was originally going to have Nick NOT be there when it happened and Brian show up at his house afterwards to break the news, but I changed my mind a few days before I wrote this. I just felt like he needed to be there.
I'm kinda sad to see it end but this was a great story. Reading about Howies funeral brought on a few tears and it seemed fitting that Lauren would be the one to comfort Nick. Nicely done!

So I'm a little late to the game but I came across this story a few months ago and ever since I've been hooked! I get all excited when I see you updated lol.
I personally love slash stories especially ones involving Nick and this one is no exception. I can totally see them together singing that song. And I love how you've carried the story so far. Keep those updates coming! 😃
Author's Response: Thanks so much! I'm glad you're enjoying it! I should be able to keep updating at least once a week until the story's done. I'm a few chapters ahead of what I've posted, and there shouldn't be too many more to go. I expect to finish this summer.
