I've really enjoyed this story. You were so cruel with chapter 17 tho lol.I can relate tho if a story has been going so long and you are not sure on how to progress or end it. IF you ever decide to change the ending I will definately read it but having said that still a great story. Love your writing.

Author's Response: Thanks! To me, this is not the real ending, nor will it ever be. I do still have a real ending in mind that would take many more chapters to write, and I hope the drive and inspiration needed to get to that place comes back to me. The thing about this story is that I do like it, even though I don't seem to really enjoy writing it, and it doesn't deserve to be half-assed or rushed through, which is why I haven't been working on it. I'm not officially calling it discontinued, though, because I could see myself returning to it someday. Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Okay so finally caught up on your story. It was nice to have 3 chapters to read. Now 1st of Nick is a dick and 2nd Nick is a DICK. He should either leave Howie and go back to Lauren OR choose Howie and never see Lauren again and stop being a dick. Okay Nick rant over.

Now onto poor Howie. I kinda feel like Sakabelle in that Howie not should die or that I want him to die but that it might be unavoidable. What that means for Nick I don't know but I don't want him to stay with Howie out of pity OR cause he's a selfish Dick.

Is it me or does Nick seem to run a bit hot and cold on Howie? I'm still not sure about things being over between him and Lauren. I think you might let him go back to her *cries* lol.

Thank you for updating again.
I'm so worried about Howie now. I fear this is going as I predicted. Nick choosing Howie and Howie dying (cries)
But maybe...just maybe you'll let him live.
My next prediction however is that Howie does have full blown aids and he will die BUT not before Nick makes a serious commitment and marries Howie. For 1 to make sure he can be with him legally at the end and 2 to finally let the outside world know how he really feels.
Again I could be wrong but I like speculating.

OMG even though I felt it was going to go this way I'm still so sad. I wanted them to have a happy ending. I hope there still is 1. If not for both then certainly for Nick. Crying so hard right now.

I can hardly keep up with your updates but that is definately a good thing.
I have a feeling we are nearing the end of this story.
I can see it ending in a few ways.
The least likely I think is Nick going back to Lauren and Howie finding happiness with someone else.

The more likely ones, IMO, are that either Nick is still torn but Howie doesn't live (cries) and he then goes back to Lauren.
The other one that I think is more what I want but I can see it happening. Nick realising that he can see a future for Howie and himself and then in the end he will choose him.

AND they live happily ever after.

It could ofcourse go way differently as you have done so many times where I thought you'd go one way and you went another. I love that...its unexpected lol.

A great job as Always. Can't wait for more.

Started reading this yesterday. I'm a huge slash reader/writer but this is not typical slash and I love it. It's such an amazing story. I've never read howie/nick before. Never liked it but you have me rooting for them. Absolutely AMAZING....now I will have to be patient lol. Great job.
