Yes! The witch is out of the way... for now, but I don't think it would be that simple... I see something bad coming from her! And Sean, he should give Alyssa some space and treat her with love, he just thinks she's a baby maker machine! I'm really starting to think that Nick will  be the one who'll get her pregnant... I smell big drama on the way!

Author's Response: You're right Monica... I wouldn't say that Shayla is gone completely either. Sean and Alyssa's relationship is really on the rocks right now. You're right he DOES have to change the way he treats her and stop obsessing over a baby, but will he? And VERY interesting prediction about Nick getting her pregnant. If you're correct on that one you're right, there will be HUGE drama up ahead!

Oh my... I'm speechless...That was absolutely HOT! Both Nick and Alyssa have grown soo much not only as people, but as lovers as well. Being apart has done them good. hands down. I just hope this time around they fight for each other, and realise that they are made for each other. I know this will hurt both them and their partners, but you just can't stop true love, and they've been through so much that they deserve peace and happiness once for all. Oh man... Nick is the tipical lover figure. Always there for you when your husband isn't... hehehe. And yes, i still hope that she'll end up pregnant with Nick baby sooner or later!

You totally rock girl!

I'm SOOO glad that you see that.  I've invested a lot of time and energy into correcting some of the flaws that Nick and Alyssa both had in UMS (but making sure they're not "perfect") so t's really nice hen my readers can tell. Of course their personal growth carries over to the bedroom as well as you'll continue to see throughout the story. This time around I think you'll start to see that it's not themselves holding them back from being with each other, but the people around them. Haha so many of you think she's gonna wind up with Nick's baby lol We'll see...

Date: 03/17/08 Title: Chapter 20: Chapter 18 - Reality Sets In

Well... it's kinda normal for Alyssa to feel like that. I would too, honestly. But I can't wait for the moment when she has to face Nick again. They have to talk and clear things between them. In a way I feel bad for Sean, he doesn't know what's going on, but I have a feeling that he won't have anymore Alyssa's heart. And if Nick's in the way, i see more and more problems.

And Nick... man! I hope you take this in a positive way, but the changes in him, the new Nick, is soo sweet, and I find him funny too! He really thinks he's done with his wife, and he's already thinking (or at least is starting to) about him and Alyssa. I see him falling for the girl again, and this time I think he will fall BIG time for her. She's the woman he's always wanted, and i don't think he would let her slip away again. He's changed, she's changed. That must be lead to something good! I just pray that Nick won't fall for some of Shayla's trick...

I can't wait to see what happen next! Keep up the extremely good work!

It IS normal. I really wanted to show a realistic reaction and I think that if I was in that situation I'd feel just as guilty as Alyssa. Facing Nick again is definitely going to be interesting, but won't happen again until the chapter after next. It is easy to feel bad for Sean because he's so oblivious, but I think he definitely feels the gap between him and Alyssa.

And I DEFINITELY take the changes you see in Nick as a positive comment. I'm so happy that you're seeing how much more mature he is. I love seeing my characters grow and evolve. It makes me feel like a proud Mommy lol. I think this time around Nick will be a lot smarter and more open with his feelings and if anyone resists it'll be Alyssa for a change. But you're right... Shayla is still not out of the pcture yet...

She finally got pregnant!!!! I am so happy for her. It will be hard, though, with sean  away from her. Pregnancy can be a wonderful experience, but it can get a little difficult without anyone by your side. I soooo wanna see Nick's reaction to the news. He's gonna be shocked, but I think he will be the first one to think about the possibility that it maybe his. afterall, wasn't alyssa the onlygirl he ever wanted children with? Plus, he seems to be falling hard for her all over again... Let's wait and see... good job.

Author's Response: That's definitely true Monica, but Alyssa has a lot of people around to help her out (including Nick) I think Nick would be genuinely happy for her, but as for as him wondering if its his... Well, You'll have to keep reading.  Thanks Monica!

I so wanna see Nick's reaction! Man... he didn't even want to have a child with his wife and now... man... big drama on the way! If I was Alyssa I would call Nick right away. So they can talk this out... he's besotted with her... why can't she see it? True Love is on the wayyyyyyy!!!! (yeah... right after the drama...)

Oh my God!!!!!!!!!!!! And Alyssa thought she could have kept it from him. She pratically blurted it out the first time she saw him... good job in keep it as a secret! And he ran away... not very nice, but i still think that he will be coming back to her pretty soon. after all we're talking about Alyssa here, the only girl he ever wanted children with!

Author's Response: Well after that fight and all that emotion and the kiss I don't think it was that surprising that she dropped the act and just came clean. And yea I think Nick just needs to wrap his mind around the situation first. I'd like to udate again soon, but I can't promise anything.

Please, just think of a way to keep Shayla out of their way at the wedding.... The have to face each other again, without witches on the way...

Anyway... Alyssa couldn't keep all that weight on her shoulders. She was soooo brave telling them about her night with Nick. I don't know if I would have done that.

But I'm pretty sure I would have run back to Nick in a glimpse! Even more so as he was so willing and mature about having a baby with her! C'mon girl! Nick has to get in action... hihihi

You're an amazing writer, but you already know that!  



Author's Response: I think it can be arranged to give them some private time minus Shayla lol I'm so glad that you can sympathize a bit w/ Alyssa. It was GOOD that she could confide in Teri and Tricia. She needs someone on her side. But remember Alyssa doesn't KNOW Nick wants the baby. He hasn't told her this yet. Thanks for the review Monica!

Oh my... Nick is so sweet and so in love. And he is finally taking a relationship in an adult way. No more childish Nick. A mature, serious and in love Nick is just soo sexy. He should leave Shayla soon. women aren't that stupid when it comes to their husband. She probably knows he's cheating on her. I think Alyssa should just follow her heart and stop thinking about what other people would think. it's just unfair. She has true love in her hands, she shouldn't let it slip away like she probably will do...

Next chapter expect to hear a bit from Shayla and how much she knows. Alyssa is a lil hesitant, not just because of what others may think, but because she's a little afraid to trust Nick, but I think she's starting to definitely come around.

i knew this was coming, to be honest i thought shayla already had hired one, but i wasn't that wrong anyway... know i'm really dying to know what nick would get alyssa for christmas and the other way around. I bet shyala would be sooo jealous!!! good job!

Author's Response: You think I'd just spring it on you that she hired a PI? LOL I guess its not too surprising since this IS Shayla. She's sneaky enough to do that. You'll have to wait to see what Alyssa and Nick wind up getting each other, but I will say that they are giving two sets of gifts. One for show and the other for real in private. Thanks Monica!

Ok... with that chapter you almost made me feel bad for Shayla... But I just love Nick and Alyssa so, go on, i won't feel pity for the wife anymore! 

Anyway, I really love to see a face to face meeting between Alyssa and Angel... would love to see a reaction on both side once Alyssa will find out that Nick hat talked to his sister about their relationship...

Haha Thanks Monica. I like happy Nick and Alyssa too just it's a little weird to write after everything they've been through. I'm always better at the build up of two characters getting together and then once they are together it's like now what? But there is plenty outside drama to keep myself entertained. I just don't want them coming across as the type of couple who makes you want to vomit lol.

Very interesting prediction about Sean. Honestly I hadn't planned on giving him a very big part at all in this. I figured after the divorce he would be so pissed at Alyssa he'd be done with her. He's not conniving like Shayla, but then again he is a lil unstable from Iraq... But you never know. I'm sure Sean would have some interesting stories to tell.
