I don't know which winner would be worse, given both Aj and Nick's history with alcohol. Yet, the thing that it kinda scares me is wondering why someone would actually take part and vote in something like this.
We live in a scary world, seriously. O.o

And I knew that Brian wouldn't go down without putting a fight first. Use those iron muscles of yours, little southern!

Am I bad if I say that I'm intrigued about what the rest of the games are going to be like? Oops? XD

Author's Response: Ummmmm I think I would be worried if you weren't curious about the remainder of the games! They're obviously starting out fairly tame and will get more "intense" as things move along. :P People in this world are totally messed up ... I'm sure that there will be no shortage of voters. It's like a real-life reality show. HAHA Also, I knew that you would make a comment about Brian trying to fight back - I'm totally getting to know you through all of these reviews!!

I loved, loved, loved, and loved infinite times the Brian and Nick's small scene. *sigh* And I loved how, no matter what happened between them, there is still that connection and that special bond.
*goes in a corner and just cries because they are so beautiful lol*

I'm kinda feeling that Brian must be right when he guessed that the ultimate goal is to kill them. Especially since how badly the kidnappers are hurting them, it's just luck that Aj had managed to still be alive.

Loved Baylee. He's totally a mini Brian, even in the attitude and character. I bet he can find his dad and uncles way before the police does LOL

I have a feeling that the next one is going to be Brian. Sadly I know the fandom. (but this time I'm kinda happy if it means seeing Brian hurt and Nick's reaction. LOL)

can't wait for the next update. =) You know that you won't get rid of me and my ramblings about Brian and Nick. lol

Author's Response: I KNEW that you would love that moment between Brian and Nick!! :) I really do love writing about their relationship, and I'm glad that you're always more than happy to comment on it. HAHA I find Baylee's character intriguing. I think he's very similar to Brian in terms of personality, but I also think that he's getting to the age where he will want to establish himself apart from his famous father. I think that he will soon grow tired of the constant "mini Brian" remarks and rebel in order to become his own person. We will see. Sadly, this fandom is pretty predictable. I swear, I was laughing at the end. lol Aj basically nailed everything, especially the Frick and Frack's part. lol Sorry Howie (actually no, I'm not sorry. This is the second story where I don't feel pity towards you given how you treat Brian. Sweet D my ass U.U)

And... I knew it. I called it. This fandom never let me down when it comes to these things. Sadly (I could probably write an essay how hypocrite it is but I'll save my breath. XD)

And now... the fun chapter: Brian gets hurt! LOL

Author's Response: Soooo based on your response to this chapter, I think it's safe to say that Howie would not want to run into you in a dark alley!! LOL Too funny! That being said, I'm glad that you agree with AJ's words (as harsh as they may have been). I find that this fandom is predictable in certain ways and surprising in others. However, aside from fan fic, I try to distance myself from the intense part of the fandom. :P

First of all, of course I'm still reading and I'm definetely going to keep reading!

So it was Kevin the one getting shot. Poor Kevin. Nick, your ideas are always the worst ones. LOL But the ones really worst of all are the police: how can they not have any leads at all? Like really? O.o Leighanne, go and make some noise! lol

I actually think that Brian and Rochelle would make a good couple. Sorry Aj! lol

Now it will be interesting to see how the Boys, especially Howie, would react to Brian's answers. And I know who is that one person Brian would save with no doubt. And he was smart not to answer, they were definetely going to use his answer against him in the future, although I guess they already know.
My poor Brian marred. ç_ç And we're not gonna see him shirtless anymore. Come on fans, go and let them pay for this! lol

Author's Response: Woo hoo! I'm so glad to see that you're still reading and taking the time to comment! It means a lot to me, especially because the updates are going to be a bit sporadic. All of this work and life business is interfering with my ability to write. Poor Brian! Things definitely didn't go so well for him in this chapter. I kinda love Rochelle as she seems grounded and realistic in terms of her relationship with AJ and the agreements that they have. WE will see how the other boys react to Brian's admissions ... probably not so well (side eyes Howie). LOL

I missed this story and you so much!

Now... can I propose a new question for the game? It goes something like "Who wants to kick Howie?" I bet there would be thousands of votes because he's acting like an ass. (And yes, Howie, you're that stupid if you kept agreeing to whatever Nick could come up with, like all those ridiculous songs you two have written together. lol)
Nick... sorry but Brian was already scarred. XD You don't get that throphy. But I hope that know you know how much Brian loves you. Otherwise... and, since we're talking about Nick's stupidity, I still can't believe he called his son Odin. XD Odin Reign. XD Poor child! Now, talking about children: poor Baylee. ç_ç I hadn't thought that he was watching his dad and that must be something he would never forget, knowing especially how tight those two are. Brian is so going to hate himself even more when he'll know this!
*tries to hug him without hurting him much.*

Gosh. Brian. I can probably write a long comment about him. He always tries so hard to be the strong one, the perfect one, maybe because he somehow feels that it's what he has to do since he's basically miraculosy alive. And he puts so much pressure on himself, maybe because he doesn't want people to see those flaws, those weakness, in fear of being left alone. But you can't not see them, though this doesn't imply that the other Boys think or love him less. I think it's quite the opposite (Howie aside, and I still want to kick his ass.)

Now... can the fans prove me wrong? As in, I really hope that they have to know that it's not a simple poll anymore. They have to know that they are going to kill one of their favorites. Please, fans, don't be that stupid. Well... XD

I'm sure I'm missing things to comment. XD But I seriously can't wait for the next chapter! *_*

Author's Response: Awwwwww, thanks!! I was so happy to see that you had left a review. I was a bit worried that everyone would have given up on me and this story. I'm still super pressed for time, but it was nice to be able to sit down and get some writing done. Hopefully, I will be able to squeeze in some more time to write in the next week or so. Anyways, you're being a bit hard on poor Howie. He's clearly upset ... LOL I actually don't think the name Odin is terrible. It's definitely unique, but at least it has some meaning behind it. I mean, he could have named him "Blanket" or "Saint". Bahahahaha! As for Brian, I feel as though people would be less hard on him if he just admitted that he's not perfect. He definitely puts on a front for the media and for the fans, but it's so easy to see beyond it that all of his pretending just does him more harm than good. He just needs to be real. Like you said, people will probably think more of him if he's honest, not less. Well, I've rambled in this response long enough. Thank you, again, for sticking with me. It really means a lot! :D

I had to wait at least one day before sitting down and commenting, otherwise my review would have been "MY BABIEEEES" and nothing else. lol But I leave that as last part of my review.

First: the fans are starting to use their brains! Thank God, there is still hope for humanity! And, well, I'm not sorry that they are going to vote for Howie. U.U It's about time that someone hurt him, though my desire to see him suffer has to do with how dick he's being acting until now. Karma is a bitch, Howie. U.U

The wives. I really feel for Leighanne. She had to watch her husband getting hurt and, at the same time, she had been basically humiliated in front of the world.

Now.
My favorite part.
Brian and Nick declaring their love for each other. Nick taking care of Brian (which is basically one of the things I love the most. lol). Both admitting that they've been idiots and stupids. Admit the truth: you wanted to kill me. lol

Author's Response: Haha!! I would have been happy with any kind of a review! Although, I knew that you would appreciate the Brian and Nick moment in this chapter. The two of them are so silly; of course they need each other. Dumb dumbs!! Yes, the fans do appear to be using their brains at this point. However, are they doing the right thing by trying to put Howie in the hot seat?? I guess we will just have to wait and see how things play out. Finally, I agree that Leighanne has been having a bit of a rough time. However, I do think that she hides some things behind her 'our lives are so perfect' Instagram posts. Holding a grudge for so long and, even in the situation they are in, he can'take stop thinking about himself and "poor me that no one cares about". *shakes her head* I bet that he would have done the same thing if he had been in Brian'sounded shoes, so, really, stop the pity party. And neither Kevin or Brian had to apologize. Like, really Kevin? You want to apologize for doing the right thing and calling your cousin? Wow.

I didn't expect this turn of events. Is it bad if I liked it, though? lol I have the feeling that it's going to be something like putting the groups against each other. Or Howie having to decide who, between Brian and Kevin, would have to die (which, I hope, would lead to him realize how much of a dick he had been up until now.). He did want to have the spotlight, right?

Wait... so now Howie cares for what happened to Brian? Since when? lol (Yes, I still haven't forgotten Howie. U.U)

Although I knew it was going to end up in nothing, I felt so proud when Brian reacted: it's so him. It doesn't matter how much he's broken, the fighter in him will always try to fight back. *Go Brian!*
So... Angelo is definetely interested in Brian. It can be the weakness they could use to save themselves (if they wait for the police... lol).

So, I got it half right. lol They did put Howie in the position to choose between his bandmates. And... I think his decision is already pretty clear. Sadly.

I suppose that's what happens when you realize that you're probably going to die; you don't want to go out with everyone hating you. HAHA You were correct in your assumption that they were going to make Howie choose between the rest of the boys. Author's Response: LOL - You enjoying the fact that this story is getting a bit twisted is only a bad thing if me writing such a twisted story is a bad thing. I think it's safe to say that we're both free to enjoy the fact that this story has taken a bit of a dark turn. Besides, the fact that you're actually starting to feel sorry for Howie means that you're a good person!! It's my goal to have the next chapter up before the week is over, so this isn't quite "Merry Christmas" yet. However, I make no promises about whether or not I will confirm that someone is dead before 2017 rolls around. :P

I haven't disappeared! Just between Christmas preparations and being left with no Internet... I'm so ready for the new year!

So, I know that the chapter is so angst and dark and ohm I loved it! But... But! I couldn't help and laugh for Kevin and his "It's the first and last time I'm going to say that Nick is right and Brian should do what he is saying." LOL

And... where in the hell is the police? XD They are the worst. Are they stopping for a coffee while BSB get shot? And yes, I'm still hoping that Aj isn't dead. Or would be dead, which is more likely since no one is actually coming to save them.

And we all know who Nick is going to chose. Unless... but I'll keep my theory to myself.

2. In the end is always Nick's fault. LOL But I loved that you gave a noble reason for what happened. It doesn't make it okay but it's something understable because all fathers would be ready to do anything in their powers if it means protecting and make his children live a better life.

Author's Response: Speaking from a mom's perspective, I totally understand the desire to protect your child at any cost. That being said, I would probably stop short of kidnapping five people, locking them in a basement, and torturing them. In all fairness, the guys probably just would have given Carl the money if they knew why he needed it; they're nice like that. I'm also sad that this story has come to an end. I loved logging on and seeing/reading all of your reviews. Hopefully, I will have some more time and some more ideas so that I can give you something else to read.
